job summary:

WEB DEVELOPER

JOB OBJECTIVE: Responsible for designing, coding and modifying current features and/or potential new features for Company's Web-Application (Software Solution), from layout to function and according to Companys's specifications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Regular exposure to executive management, as well as the authority and scope to apply your expertise to many interesting technical problems.
  • Candidate must have a strong understanding of UI, cross-user compatibility, general web functions and standards.
  • The position requires constant communication with colleagues.
  • Experience in planning and delivering software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units.
  • Deep expertise and hands on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and API's.
  • Deep functional knowledge or hands on design experience with REST Web Services is required for this position.
  • Strong grasp of security principles and how they apply to E-Commerce applications.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publication; establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies
  • Performs all other position-related duties as assigned or requested; and
  • Adheres to company policy and procedures and all applicable Federal and State policy

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Deep understanding and hands on experience with the following coding languages: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL
  • Hands on experience with the following technology stack: PostgreSQL, Node JS, Rest Services, and Angular 2 (front-end)
  • Valid driver's license; and
  • Must pass background check

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Critical thinking skills to identify and learn from mistakes;
  • Ability to follow written and verbal directives;
  • Ability to communicate information clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing;
  • Ability to meet deadlines consistently;
  • Ability to process information in a logical manner and to assess validity;
  • Solid ability to pay close attention to detail, identify and evaluate problems, establish priorities, organize and analyze information, provide alternatives and implement effective solutions;
  • Ability to make clear, effective decisions with knowledge and acceptance of consequences;

DAILY DUTIES AND SCHEDULE (Typical):

  • Full-time Employee accomplishing tasks and attending necessary meeting that will be completely related to the CACFP. Company is 100% CACFP and this employee, like all other Company employees, will not be working on any tasks not related to the CACFP.
  • Once per week, will attend "Pre-Planning" meeting with Director of IT and the rest of the IT Department to discuss tasks to accomplish for that week (Typically 1 Hour).
  • Once per day, will attend "Daily Stand-Up" meeting with Director of IT and the rest of the IT Department to discuss daily goals and blockers (Typically 15 Minutes).
  • Once per week, will attend "Retrospective" meeting with Director of IT and the rest of the IT Department to discuss progress for the week as well as potential changes that will need to be made the following week to increase IT Department productivity (Typically 1 Hour)
  • 7 to 7.75 hours per day, completing tasks related to web-development. This may include Ad Hoc interaction with Director of IT, other members of the IT Department, Company Executives or other Company employees to determine requirements and specifications pertinent to the web development task being accomplished.
  • In the rare event that no web-development tasks are available to be accomplished, will report to Director of IT to assist with other department related tasks.
