Our Opportunity:

The Data Governance Developer will implement Collibra technology functions to support and maintain client's Data Governance Program and goals in client's suite of data governance tools.

Specific responsibilities include:

Implement Collibra Connect Integration templates and workflows

Implement Collibra Workflows

Leverage Collibra API as needed to meet client's integration needs with the Collibra DGC platform

Design, development, unit testing, and validation support of Metadata import and export jobs and creation of data governance reporting/KPIs

Support implementation of upgrades and future developments of data governance tool suites

Responsible for adherence to SDLC policies and standards for technical management of the Collibra DGC platform

What you'll do:

Develop, support and maintain Collibra Connect, Workflows and API

Interact with Data Governance Office to capture requirements, document integrations and processes, participate in meetings and working sessions

Participation with Data Governance Office and STS technical leadership to continuously improve data governance technologies

Drive continuous improvement and development of best practices for the IDG organization

Maintain a solid understanding of Collibra DGC capabilities and the product's roadmap to ensure effective technical design of solutions in the platform

Required skills

- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology or a related field.

- 5+ years of data-centric IT work

- Experience as a Collibra developer working with Collibra Connect, API and Activity Workflow Designer tool

- Understanding and experience with groovy or JavaScript, Eclipse, and APIs

- Understanding and experience with data formats such as XML, CSV, and JSON

- Understanding and experience with typical integration technologies such as HTTP, JMS, JDBC, REST, and SOAP

- Experience with MuleSoft

- Experience working in a regulatory, risk and compliance environment and supporting associated projects preferred 5 or more years of data governance, or related experience, with one (1) or more years of recent experience assisting in development of a data governance program

- Experience with data governance tools including technical and business metadata, data quality, data profiling, and data lineage, etc.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in the financial services industry a plus

- Ability to understand, translate and communicate abstract concepts/ideas in a clear, concise, and easy to understand communication style

- Must demonstrate analytical, problem solving and research skills that allow working with problems that are complex and often unique
