Within the Corporate Video Technology (CVT) team of the Corporate Technology/Technology & Operations Group, this Web Developer 5 position will lead other CVT development team members in technical design/QA, product development, system integration, and ensure compliance with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and other applicable IT policies (Application Sunrise/Maintenance Playbooks). The right candidate will work in conjunction with a team of technology professionals whose aim is to develop, enhance, and support Digital Signage Enterprise and Wells Fargo On-Demand Video delivery and live streaming related technology solutions that address the Corporate Communications Video Network business needs.

Furthermore, this individual will also work closely with line of business representatives, internal, and external technology partners to help define and develop a framework of technologies to enable concise, consistent, and cost-effective customer and corporate-wide communications.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leverage C# .NET, SQL Server, and other Web related coding practices to drive advanced Web, Digital Signage, and Video related technologies for our Video Network business partner.
  • Collaborate with business partners/analysts, IT partners, vendors, and peers to lead application development and implementations of moderately complex to complex intranet applications including mobile and tablet designs. In addition to delivering solidly fortressed implementations and enhancements of business solutions for Video Network applications at an enterprise scale.
  • Acting as a development lead for other developers on the CVT team and a Subject Matter Expert (SME) / escalation point for development and production troubleshooting guidance.
  • As part of this leadership role, provide knowledge sharing, training, and mentoring to other developers on the CVT team.
  • Evaluate system specifications for requirements, lead technical design solutions, influence direction, and build/implement the most cost-effective software solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of web development experience; including programming and developing web applications
  • 7+ years of C# experience
  • 7+ years of MS SQL server experience
  • 4+ years of MVC (Model-View-Controller) Framework experience
  • 3 + years of JavaScript Frameworks experience (jQuery, Ext JS, Kendo UI and/or Angular JS)
  • 3 + years of Entity Framework experience
  • 1+ year of leadership experience including coaching, training, and mentoring

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience programming or developing applications
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • A BS/BA degree or higher in information technology
  • 2 + years of experience with internet content strategy and writing content for websites
  • Content Management Systems experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of application lifecycle, from design and development to testing, implementation and production support
  • Knowledge and understanding of technology production support: troubleshooting for web internet or intranet applications
  • Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment

Other Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge and understanding of Video Content delivery and the supporting technology.
  • Experience working with responsive web design frameworks such as jQuery and Bootstrap.
  • Experience with Telerik Controls, ReSharper, SQL Server 2008 R2, and Visual Studio 2013.
