Job Description

Wells Fargo Digital Banking Technology is seeking a Web Developer with an enterprise web application development experience background that will enhance and support the Wholesale Common Authentication (WCA) platform. This developer will work on a team providing development and support for the sign-on services provided via the WCA application. The selected candidate should have prior web application development experience implementing and supporting customer facing web applications.

The candidate should have a strong focus on supporting secure, highly scalable and high availability web applications. The resource will be assisting with the integration of WCA login flows with many integrating applications. The candidate will provide application design guidance and consultation, utilizing a thorough understanding of applicable technology, tools and existing designs for WCA.

The candidate will develop and implement complex, integrated systems and enhancements in designated programming languages and database environments. Development Technologies that will be used include: Java, Spring, Hibernate, Webservices and Oracle. Ensures systems and enhancements are fully compliant with requirements through appropriate unit and system/integration testing. Acts as an escalation point for production troubleshooting guidance; provides traning and mentoring to less experienced developers. Coordinates with systems partners outside the group and oversees contractors on projects.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of web development experience; including programming and developing web applications
  • 8+ years of JavaEE experience

  • Experience programming or developing applications
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Other Desired Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in leading development teams as team lead
  • 2+ years experience using one or more JavaScript framework ( ReactJS, Angular, Node, YUI, etc.)
  • Eclipse IDE, Adobe Flex, FileNet, SWIFT, XML Beans/ XSD schema, JBoss Server, HP ALM
  • Experience working with XML Metadata framework driven UI development.
  • Familiarity with SQL and PL/SQL programming on Oracle or SQL Server database platforms
  • Familiarity with automated UI testing frameworks ( Junit, Cucumber, etc.)
  • Proven ability to communicate with business and technical groups
  • Knowledge and understanding of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle)
  • GitHub, Jenkins and uDeploy experience
  • Strong attention to detail, analytic, team player and highly self-motivated.
  • Ability to work on-call rotation and off hours as work requires.
  • Previous enterprise web application development in Financial industry preferred; Wells Fargo experience strongly preferred
  • Experience of working with front-to-back office system integration & implementation
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related discipline
