Our client is staffing to support the development of a new "Rapid Application Delivery" environment. We are seeking a senior level web application developer who will be responsible for the basic design, development and ongoing modification of software applications in a moderately complex environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of working independently as well as in medium sized development teams, utilizing Agile development & delivery methodologies to deliver enterprise class software solutions. Previous experience using software development platforms such as Outsystems or Force.com will be an advantage. The candidate will be required to work closely with globally distributed teams to meet the business objectives.

The successful candidate must be willing to work in a team environment and be a fast learner. An understanding of HTML/CSS/Javascript and relational database/SQL experience is required to be successful in this position. Must have knowledge of OOP programming languages and such as Java and/or C#.

Expect to be on the move, working directly with users of our applications: National Accounts, customer services, and even customers at times. This will be an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated software developer to be part of a dynamic team. The development team is responsible for building web-based software solutions to benefit the company's business objectives. We know that variety keeps you on your toes, that is why you will have time to explore and experiment, to work on proof of concepts or your own projects.


- Design, develop and/or maintain multiple moderately complex applications, programs, application functions, databases, or application / user interfaces.

- Working with stake holders, business analysts, and team members to understand fairly complex business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.

- Balance multiple priorities and respond to day-to-day problems while maintaining progress on regularly scheduled project work.

- Take personal responsibility for quality and timeliness of results for projects and tasks.

- Provide user support for multiple applications.

- Work effectively with minimal oversight.

- Responsible for unit testing and integration testing


- Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in engineering or computer science.

- 3+ years of demonstrated experience building web or mobile applications, preferably with a rapid application development platform such as OutSystems or Force.com

- 3+ years developing with one or more development languages including C#, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and SQL for creating rich web applications.

- Experience with relational database systems such as SQL Server, DB2 or Oracle.

- Strong application design, analytical and problem solving skills.

- Excellent communications, analytical and troubleshooting skills


- OutSystems developer certification is a PLUS.

- Experience working with data warehousing and analytics technologies.

- Understands Agile software development methodologies.

- Clear thinking and ability to think like an end user

- Able to understand complex topics, including business requirements

- Have solid software development background with C# and .NET

- Must be a self-starter with the ability to prioritize, multi-task and work in a heavy workload environment
