Your Role and Responsibilities
Our Senior Consultants come from diverse backgrounds, and they help us serve clients in diverse fields, including manufacturing, healthcare, financial services and the military. But they share certain important traitsso do the most successful job candidates. Most are former CEOs, COOs and high-level managers with serious experience under their belts. meaningful challenges.

Every day, our Senior Consultants take on exciting assignments around the world, with the goal of bringing about lasting meaningful change for their clients. We work virtually, which means you don't have to relocate. But you do travel extensively two or three weeks a month with one full week off each month.

Responsibilities
As GTM Business Segment Leader for Simpler Watson Health, you will develop targeted sales strategies for Simpler Consulting Services. Partner with Marketing and Pre-Sales to effectively position consulting offerings through defined pricing models, partnership support, and direct sales campaigns. Also translate insights and trends into compelling and actionable value propositions coordinated with our services offering roadmap maturity. As a Leader you will manage the entire sales cycle including lead generation, customer relationship management, proposal development, and close planning.

Other duties include:
  • Establishing pricing strategy for selected Simpler Services.
  • Coordinate with Client Executive, Solution Representative, and Finance to efficiently approve deal pricing that adheres to WH Delegation.
  • Relationship building with Client Success Managers to realize revenue, offering usage to realize approved price case.
  • Coaching SRs and Client Success Managers on deal packaging and closing.
  • Collaborating with Simpler Partners to drive large scale, meaningful deals.
  • Effectively coach teams to promote communication and understanding.
  • Represent Voice of the Client within the Segment.
  • Own key relationships in collaboration with regional sales teams.
  • Improve client loyalty and Net Promoter Score by assembling necessary resources for issue resolution.
  • Coach the SRs and CSM to become valued and sticky to key clients beyond install.
  • Build strong internal network with strategic relationships across Watson Health and IBM to become a Boundaryless influence across our organization.
  • Enhance client experience with WH by coaching teams on coordinating efforts in the approach to interacting with the client.
  • Initiate the collaboration to shape and process compelling deals.



Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • 10+ years selling to C Suite executives
  • 10+ years experience in a consulting environment
  • 5+ years working in a healthcare environment such as payer/provider, life science, government etc.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with C-suite clients
  • Must possess the ability to work with clients at a senior strategic level
  • Proven success building rapport and business relationships quickly and effectively
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally 75% of the time
  • Ability to articulate the companys value proposition and capabilities
  • Hunter mentality
