Responsibilities

VP Cybersecurity

POSITION SUMMARY:

Providing a fresh vision for digital transformation, the Vice President of Cybersecurity Services will apply experience and expertise in cybersecurity technologies to:

  • Enhance and manage Perspectas cybersecurity services strategy
  • Leverage your deep knowledge of government regulations and mandates such as NIST SP 800 guidelines and frameworks, FedRAMP, FISMA, and OMB Presidential Directives to enhance current cybersecurity offerings
  • Partner with world class business and engineering leaders to 1) deliver next generation cybersecurity technologies and services, and 2) provide transformational and reliable cyber solutions to our enterprise customers
  • Further represent Perspecta as a cybersecurity thought leader, industry speaker and panel conference participant with customers and industry groups
  • Apply significant experience winning large systems and services contracts in key roles - from technology executive, strategist, lead solution architect, proposal/solution reviews

FOCUS

  • Collaborate with Perspectas senior Business Group and functional leaders to define and execute our cybersecurity strategy
  • Develop repeatable and scalable processes and technical collateral for the cybersecurity services portfolio. Address key aspects of the latest cyber technology innovations associated with cloud security, data security, threat hunting, forensics, and identity management
  • Optimize and deliver a Business-aligned roadmap for cybersecurity managed services and a product/service portfolio that is relevant, differentiated, competitive and integrated to support existing programs and new business pursuits.
  • Provide oversight of harvesting, adopting, adapting and developing cybersecurity innovations being developed by Perspecta and industry.
  • Contribute to achieving revenue and delivery excellence objectives.
  • Identify and bring technology opportunities to the organization, to include partnerships and M&A
  • Communicate cybersecurity value propositions to range of audiences, including executive management, cross-functional teams, clients and industry
  • Act as cybersecurity promoter for the value it brings the business. Understand how cybersecurity works with business and impacts various levels of organization.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring and coaching for all staff and foster a culture of achievement, collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Build, grow, and mentor a world-class team
  • Advises on enterprise wide growth strategies and initiatives aimed at differentiation of services and delivery, enhanced margins, increased competitiveness, and industry thought leadership.



Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

  • 18+ years of progressive experience and deep SME knowledge in cybersecurity technology: infrastructure, tools, architecture, platforms, best practices for integration, and DevOps Security
  • Deep SME knowledge in cybersecurity managed services offerings and operations
  • Public Sector (Civilian, DoD, Intelligence Community) experience
  • Proven management, leadership, and new business experience with ownership over large-scale initiatives a must.
  • Demonstrated expertise and experience in cybersecurity platform migration, cloud-based cyber platforms services, application and data security, and emerging technologies.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity value from business standpoint. Ability to articulate and develop cybersecurity strategy, value props and influence tech decision makers
  • In-depth understanding of IT and process implementation and transformation.
  • Experience with private and public cloud infrastructures that are leveraged for cybersecurity goals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable delivering effective decision-based presentations to executive management teams. Collaborative attitude and delivery style.
  • Understanding of commercial pricing, P&L, impact analysis, and business management
  • Ensures achievement of short and long-range objectives, budgets and operating plans of the functional unit
  • Relationships and experience with cybersecurity platform and service providers
  • This position must have the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security clearance at the appropriate level for the position
