Job Summary
Responsible for creating, developing, and executing quality designs for core elements of our pharmacy business and system applications. Works closely with other team members to ensure designs align to an overarching vision and strategy to deliver the best user experience.

Job Responsibilities
  • Helps to define and documents UX style guide patterns and behaviors.
  • Strictly follows and ensures all designs are according to agreed style and behavior patterns.
  • Participates and presents designs during internal bi-weekly design reviews as well as leadership design reviews.
  • Participates and supports product and engineering team with any user experience needs throughout different phases of the project (planning, pre-work, elaboration and post-work).
  • Collaborates on daily basis with product owners, business analysts, system analysts, and scrum teams to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Follows agreed WOW and UX processes.
  • Strives for innovative solutions understanding platform constrains, technical and program level limitations.
  • Work closely with design authority to ensure suggested solutions meet with technical expectations and limitations.
  • Helps to document UX WOW, best practices, and style guide exceptions.
  • Works closely with research team to validate concepts and design solutions.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and at least 1 year of design experience with focus on software, web applications, and mobile apps OR a High School Diploma/GED and at least 3 years of design experience with focus on software, web applications, and mobile apps.
  • Knowledge of software project, management practices, development practices, and agile methodologies.
  • Experience with conceptualization, visualization, design.
  • Experience creating wireframes, hi-fidelity prototypes and/or other visual artifacts.
  • Experience with user interface design patterns and UCD methodologies across multiple platforms.
  • Experience with prototyping software, such as Axure.
  • Knowledge of User Center Design processes.
  • Experience with graphic creation software, such as Adobe Photoshop, and/or Illustrator.
  • Knowledge of project management tools, such as Confluence and/or JIRA.
  • Willing to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Human Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Human Factors / ergonomics or related field.
  • At least 2 years of user experience design.
