job summary:

looking for a User Experience manager in our Data & Analytics (D&A) organization. In this role, you will lead the design and delivery of the ideal user experience for internal tools within D&A, ensuring satisfaction of our business partners and ease of use for internal reporting and analytics tools. Duties will include building design strategy, following and further shaping D&A design guidelines, interfacing with business partners, wireframing key interactions and prototyping.

The ideal candidate will work in a team that demands technical excellence, whose members are expected to hold each other accountable for the overall success of the end product. Focus for this team is on the delivery of innovative solutions to complex problems, but also with a mind to drive simplicity in refining and supporting of the solution by others. This is not a group that deals with technology from a distance - everyone is expected to roll up their sleeves and get work on implementation.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Advocate for design standards and maintain a consistent design language, applying standards across all projects
  • Educate others in the organization on the value of design standards and an eye for design thinking and user experience
  • Understand the needs of business users and translate those needs into actionable requirements
  • Work in an Agile environment to innovate quickly on big, out-of-the-box ideas
  • Manage user research, including testing and analytics
  • Present and justify design thinking and rationale through key milestone deliverables to peers and stakeholders
  • Delivery and seek feedback on comps, wireframes, prototypes to drive UX innovation and implementation within D&A
  • 7-10 years' experience working in UX/UI, either in an agency setting or large corporation
  • Experience with CSS and Javascript, HTML5 a plus
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop
  • Experience delivering and iterating on creative solutions
  • Ability to think creatively and ask questions
  • Ability to communicate at various levels within large organizations
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients.
  • Ability to understand and communicate business needs and requirements, especially understanding what users truly need vs. what they believe they need

  • Knowledge and/or experience with Health care information domains a plus.


Bachelors degree in UX/UI, Design, or related field. 7-10 years' experience.
