Project Overview:

Google is looking for a research coordinator for its user experience research (UXR) team. The research coordinator provides program management leadership and operational support throughout the research process by on-boarding new participants, streamlining the user research process, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and outside companies. The position is a contract role for a duration of 6 months, with possibility of extension, and is based in Boulder, CO.

In this role, you'll combine expert project management skills with a passion for user driven insights to help the team improve the designs of products that billions of users rely on. You'll work with researchers, product managers, sales representatives, and others to develop and implement processes facilitating research with enterprise users, plan research projects, define milestones, assess risks, and help define the enterprise user research roadmap. You are a master planner and a flexible project manager who can balance multiple projects.

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:

Enroll research participants into our testing programs

Recruit research participant candidates drawn from enrollees in our research programs, customer databases/lists, and employee referrals

Coordinate the logistics of user research, including participant scheduling, facility scheduling, and distribution of incentives.

Overall Responsibilities:

Work with research managers and cross-functional partners to identify, prioritize, and plan research engagements in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.

Onboard external, enterprise participants into user research

Work within Google to identify partnership opportunities, and ensuring smooth research workflow

Implement process to track and move research initiatives forward that have multiple stakeholders and many moving parts

Partner with user research leads in establishing effective team communication, best practices, and collaboration practices

Collaborate and support user research leads in delivering strategic insights to the business

Additional responsibilities related to coordinating remote and in person user research

Required Skills:

BA/BS degree in any field study

1-3 years experience as a Program Manager

Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and credibility.

Ability to create order and process out of ambiguity

Demonstrated program/project management skills, with ability to lead complex strategic and operational initiatives.

Familiarity with design, user research, and innovation processes and experience working with design, research, and engineering professionals

Proven ability to multitask, analyze opportunities, define successful approaches, and proactively solve problems

Track record of creating, coordinating and implementing programs and operations in large, complex organizations

Track record of leadership who can help our team execute on solutions in a timely manner

Prior experience in program management, research coordination, user research design, or enterprise user research recruiting preferred
