Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM is looking for someone to manage and maintain TRIRIGA software system and network configuration for Department of Justice. Job duties will include:
  • Run and manage periodic networks, system updates, system security, and troubleshoot system issues.
  • Monitor system performance and maintain system according to requirements.
  • System has several interfaces, which require review and maintenance.
  • Contact appropriate individuals about system interfaces and issues.
  • Ensure security through access controls and backups.
  • Support and maintain TRIRIGA servers for Department of Justice.
  • Develop BIRT reports using Eclipse 4.6 or higher.
  • Read Reports built with JAVA scripts.
  • Maintain 5 separate system environments, each of which runs on a cluster of 2 Linux and 1 Windows box.
  • Manage assigned software development tickets through Rational Tick.




Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • 3+ years proven experience as Systems Administrator.
  • Experience with databases, networks, system security, and data backup/recovery.
  • Strong SQL development, Eclipse 4.6.
  • Strong Linux/Unix/AIX background.
  • Ability to create scripts in PERL.
  • Understand Windows IIS and Windows Server Administration.
  • Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Excellent communication skills with developers, Database Administrators, and system iterface Points of Contact, other team members, and clients.
  • Active Top Secret Clearance, SSBI



Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • BS/BA in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • Experience writing JAVA code.
  • Experience developing BIRT reports.
