Job Description

We are looking for a Test Automation Architect supporting Wholesale CDD area. Test Automation Architect will be responsible for leading QA automation strategy, develops and maintains the QA automation framework for CDD area.

This position is responsible for overseeing all the test automation activities, including but not limited to:

  • Partners with functional QA team, development and business partners to create and maintain automation roadmap.
  • Develops and enhances scalable automation frameworks.
  • Defines and enforces automation coding standards and provides best practices for automation team.
  • Analyzes testing tools, automation frameworks, and latest testing techniques to make recommendations to QA leadership.
  • Provides metrics and reports to showcase automation efficiency and effectiveness to the QA leadership.
  • Creates and executes automation scripts.
  • Creates and maintains CI/CD pipelines.
  • Looks at creative solutions when existing testing tools/frameworks dont work
  • Provides guidance and direction to automation team.
  • Simultaneously works on multiple projects/releases.
  • Collaborates with onshore and offshore resources.
  • Required Qualifications

    7+ years of application development and implementation experience10+ years of experience implementing and maintaining automation frameworks7 + years of experience designing and implementing solutions for test automation using Selenium and Java3+ years of Agile experience

    Desired Qualifications

    Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsBS/BA in computer science, applied statistics, quantitative economics, operations research or a related fieldAbility to work in a fast paced deadline driven environmentFinancial industry experience

    Other Desired Qualifications
  • Strong experience implementing early automation and close to 100% test automation.
  • Experience in configuring CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong working knowledge of testing fundamentals such as TDD and BDD.
  • Experience leading automation efforts for large, complex enterprise size and business critical applications.
  • Software development skills in one or more common programming/scripting languages such as Java, Ruby or Python with SQL
  • Excellent organizational skills and an ability to effectively balance multiple projects/efforts simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills.
  • Experience with testing web services.
  • Experience working on workflow based applications, such as IBM BPM.
