Enterprise Database Management (EDM) Teradata Engineering, Infrastructure and Operations (TDEIO) has an opening for a Database Analyst 4. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to participate in the operational support of one of the largest Teradata analytics and database implementations in the world. This DBA4 will be responsible for operational support activities concerning the Teradata Infrastructure. Additional responsibilities including but not limited to:

Day-to-day maintenance and operations Break/fix Collaboration with our off-shore team members/partners Collaboration with our Teradata (vendor) support personnel Participate in technology refresh activities Scheduled on-call support and other duties Compliance and Vulnerability remediation activities

Support and administration of the complete Teradata ecosystem:

UNIX operating system DBMS servers BAR (NetBackup and DSA) ViewPoint QueryGrid Data Mover Unity Security tools such as BoKS, Guardium, Qualys, TaniumRequired Qualifications

5+ years of database design and administration experience5+ years of Teradata experience

Desired Qualifications

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsKnowledge and understanding of technical application development Knowledge and understanding of technology project managementExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills5+ years of UNIX experience

Other Desired Qualifications Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Knowledge and understanding of technical application development Knowledge and understanding of technology project management 3 years experience with UNIX/Linux security with shell scripting (bash or ksh). Working knowledge of incident and problem management Experience with database migrations, for both hardware refreshes and environment upgrades. Advanced experience with O/S-level UNIX scripting Knowledge of network fabrics and storage systems System troubleshooting and tuning Knowledge of disaster recovery processes and methodologies Ability to work with very technical teammatesJob Expectations

Ability to work additional hours as neededAbility to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed or scheduledFlexibility to work in a 24/7 environment
