Job Description

Many of the key applications within EIT reside within the International suite of applications. This position is for a Technology Manager who will manage multiple testing teams to support the Intl organization The manager will not only be responsible for maintaining and supporting the current automation and manual testing infrastructure but will also be responsible for evaluating, implementing, and evangelizing new approaches in this field for transforming how we instill quality earlier in the software development life cycle.

The ideal candidate will have a solid development background in Intl applications as well as a seasoned experience in Agile Methodology and Dev/Ops implementations. The role will be central to efforts involving transforming the regression team in shifting quality left within the SDLC, implementing service virtualization, and emerging concepts such as artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities. The candidate will also be a collaborative leader, who will work in close partnerships with development organizations to implement preventative quality assurance controls.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Provide leadership to foster automation and innovation across the organization
  • Managing Senior and junior automation engineers
  • Ensure compliance with audit and other governance processes
  • Financial budgeting and forecasting
  • Establish close working relationships with our many external technology vendors in addition to many internal business partners
  • Create and update processes and procedures
  • Sets priorities and acts as the escalation point for projects and individual requests
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external partners, as well as other members of the team
  • Manage a geographically dispersed work force


Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of technology experience
  • 2+ years of leadership or management experience, in a technology environment
  • 5 + years of automation or regression testing experience
  • 4+ years of business systems analysis or design experience
  • 3+ years of experience leading the requirement design process with both technical and business partners



Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
  • Leadership experience with ability to effectively manage and engage teams
  • Knowledge and understanding of Selenium software testing framework
  • Knowledge and understanding of automated regression and maintaining scripts in regression
  • Leadership experience including; coaching, training, and mentoring
  • Experience building partnerships and consulting effectively with leadership
  • Ability to communicate effectively with business partners and project managers
  • Experience facilitating meetings with team members in various remote locations
  • Knowledge and understanding of technology support: troubleshooting technology issues with software applications
  • Knowledge and understanding of technology testing: methodologies and the software development life cycle
  • Experience developing and executing communication strategies by collaborating with large, matrixed teams
  • Knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies: used in waterfall or Agile development projects



Other Desired Qualifications
  • 5+ years experience defining and developing an automated test framework, process, and test suite. Experience should include development beyond record and playback, specifically developing functions, adding control flow logic, loops etc.
  • 5+ years experience using 3rd party Quality Assurance automation tools. Recent experience with Test Complete


Job Expectations

  • Flexibility to frequently be on call beyond normal working hours
  • Flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment, including weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to attend training and off-site office events outside office hours
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
