The Wells Fargo Digital Channel Technology Group is looking for a dynamic, fast-thinking, innovative technology manager to lead a team of top-tier software engineers working on a wide variety of retail banking technologies. As the manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of the SDLC for the Trust Next Generation Platform, the OFX platform, the Application Secure Data Exchange platform, and the new Daily Change platform. You will be expected to be effective working closely with engineers and senior business leaders as the situation warrants on complex server side and mobile technology problems. You will be required to design, plan, resource and execute complex development efforts that have significant business and fiscal impact. You will be expected to participate in ushering in advanced technologies to help Wells Fargo prepare technology challenges. As one of the key leaders in a very high profile development department within Wells Fargo, you will need to be comfortable with a constantly changing, dynamic landscape and be able to make critical decisions in a timely manner which can impact a projects success. This is an extremely fast paced and challenging environment and one of the most exciting areas in application development today.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of technology experience
  • 3+ years of leadership or management experience, in an IT environment
  • 5+ years of web applications experience
  • 5+ years of Java experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
  • A BS/BA degree or higher
  • 1+ year of Agile experience

Other Desired Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience leading software development teams on complex Web or Mobile technologies
  • Demonstrated experience with Machine Learning, Micro Services Architecture or Cloud technologies
  • Background developing for and managing large volume customer facing transactional systems (i.e greater than 1 MM customers or Fortune 500 enterprise scale applications)

Job Expectations

  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed or scheduled
