Job Description

This position will report to the Wholesale Lending Data Technology Platform Leader to manage the Lending Big Data Initiatives and Integrations team. Responsible for data delivery, reporting and analytical solutions within the Wholesale Lending Data Services. The scope of the data and BI to be supported are in many marts, 300+ source systems, across 3500 users in LOBs.

This position will work with various Teradata, Oracle-ExaData, Big Data COE engineering, infrastructure, lines of business and support teams.

The position will lead a team responsible for all initiatives and integrations across the Lending Data COE and support the peer leaders in other data LOBs reporting to the Wholesale Data Technology Platform Leader.

Manage small teams of full time employees, contractors and EGS resources in India. Manage vendors, internal relationships, and develop Proof of Concept and Proof of Technology, roadmaps and prioritization. Oversee project timelines, funding and resource management.

Responsibilities include:

  • Primary responsibility for managing the day-to-day tactical operations of the BI teams.
  • Manage Initiatives and Integration team with HR responsibilities. Should have previous experience to have directs and reporting experience. Directs all project initiatives for different operations and business functional areas.
  • Extensive experience in Data Analysis, Data Architecture and Data Modeling is a must.
  • Experience leading Data Warehousing projects and initiatives.
  • Manage vendors, internal relationships, Proof of Concept and Proof of Technology roadmaps and prioritization.
  • Partner with Platform leaders to develop and implement Big Data roadmap for moving the platform forward in a controlled and cost effective way.
  • Experience in the financial industry is a must.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of technology experience
  • 3+ years of leadership or management experience, in an IT environment
  • 10+ years of business intelligence experience
  • 5+ years of data management experience
  • 9+ years of experience in data quality and best practice design concepts

Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization

Other Desired Qualifications
  • 10+ years of industry experience with BI Data Development.
  • 12+ years managing data projects
  • Experience with Data Quality and Data Lineage
  • Experience with large, complex initiatives and integrations
  • Ability to work with multiple data COEs across Enterprise Data Architecture, Hadoop, Teradata, Oracle and Master Data Management
  • Experience managing in a matrix organization and data integrations
  • Bachelors Degree in computer science
  • Masters degree is a plus
