Job Description

Works on complex problems withadvanced systems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of a variety of factors. Establishes and recommends changes to policies which affect work units directly and indirectly managed and may affect other areas of the company. Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve goals results in additional costs and staff, and serious delays in overall schedules. Frequently interacts with direct reports, customers, and functional peer group managers, and occasionally interacts with senior management. Typically has lower-level managers and exempt staff as direct reports. Develops and administers budget.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of technology experience
  • 3+ years of leadership or management experience, in an IT environment
  • 3+ years of Java experience
  • 3+ years of Oracle experience
  • 3+ years of Weblogic experience
  • 5 + years of project management experience working on application development projects

Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
  • Knowledge and understanding of Quality Assurance (QA) or application testing
  • Knowledge and understanding of application development, infrastructure, and architecture environments
  • Knowledge and understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC): all phases and types of testing
  • Knowledge and understanding of Middleware
  • 1+ year of JIRA experience
  • Experience designing and developing learning for complex technology systems and processes including Agile development methodology environments

Other Desired Qualifications
  • 3+ Technology Workflow management experience
  • 5+ years large scale project delivery experience
  • Proven successful experience with WF PMO
  • DBA experience
  • Ability to collect, analyze and report staff and application performance metrics
