Enterprise Finance & Information Technology offers technology and services that exceed Wells Fargo customers expectations and directly enable them to succeed financially. This position will lead the Wells Fargo enterprise data certification and test lab in Charlotte, NC. The candidate will manage a team of 10 IP data network engineering professionals. The labs are accountable for all hardware and software certification including the following technologies;

  • Routers
  • gateways
  • Switches
  • Software Testing Automation and Tools
  • SD-Wan
  • MPLS
  • 4g
  • Switched Ethernet
  • Wireless LAN

Wells Fargo maintains one of the largest and most complex enterprise class IP voice and data networks. Our voice and data network environments support every aspect of the corporations business. The voice and data network is our technologys central nervous system.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Establish close working relationships with our many external technology vendors in addition to many internal business partners
  • Create and update processes and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with audit and other governance processes
  • Financial budgeting and forecasting
  • Manage a large enterprise data lab
  • Provide leadership to foster automation development
  • Manage the business continuity plan for the lab
  • Sets priorities and acts as the escalation point for lab requests
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external partners, as well as other members of the team
  • Manage a geographically dispersed work force
  • Track Service Requests
  • Provide Analytics for Vulnerability Remediation
  • Assign Service Requests and foster a reduced time to market strategy

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of technology experience
  • 2+ years of leadership or management experience, in a technology environment

Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
  • 7+ years of Cisco experience
  • 1+ year of management experience
  • Ability to review detailed lab results from in-house testing and certification teams
  • Knowledge and understanding of financial controls and risk
  • Knowledge and understanding of voice and data network
  • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills with ability to turn findings into strategic imperatives
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Ability to manage complex projects in a large enterprise environment
  • Ability to manage process improvement initiatives to optimize operational effectiveness and efficiencies
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important

Other Desired Qualifications
  • Previous Lab experience (testing & certifying products and use of Ixia, Spirent Tools, and automation tools).
