Job Description
Application Asset Data Management lead is a key position that is envisaged to take the ownership in ensuring the application asset data is defined, collected and maintained to a real time accuracy. He/She will also ensure there are appropriate posturing/strategy for each category of applications in a manner that we minimize the risk to the organization. Responsible for maintaining the SOR and maintaining the completeness and Integrity of the data.

Position Responsibilities and Expected Outcomes

The Application Asset Data Management- Lead will partner with the EAPM, EIT Technology Risk Management, IT for IT , SACM and LOB teams to provide the following

  • Consistent Attribute Definitions and Data mapping
  • Application Asset data completion/Accuracy
  • Portfolio mapping
  • SOR Rationalization
  • Proactive Data Integrity Checks
  • Certifications Objective/real time
  • PAA/PII/Critical application Governance from data perspective

This will enable the Enterprise CIO group to more effectively own, manage and govern our portfolio of applications to meet operational, safety & soundness and strategic requirements.

Specific responsibilities also include:

  • Appropriate engagement with all stake holders to develop an organizational stance on critical issues
  • Controlled asset(Application) acquisition ensuring all necessary data conditions met
  • Process to ensure basic data sanity hygiene
  • Develop proactive data integrity checks that will be run periodically to identify the challenges ourselves
  • Work with IT4IT team to get a single SOR in place
  • Evangelize the portfolio concept and work with the LOB teams in better portfolio mapping and associated efficiencies


Required Qualifications

  • 12+ years of technology infrastructure experience
  • 7+ years of management experience in technology
  • 10+ years of leadership or management experience
  • 5+ years of banking finance experience
  • 2+ years of advanced asset analysis and experience working with all types
  • 1 + year of experience creating and implementing strategic plans and roadmaps at the executive level for enterprise wide business initiatives



Desired Qualifications

  • Experience managing multiple or large technology infrastructure components
  • Ability to turn preliminary or ambiguous information, ideas, or problems into well-defined plans and solutions



Other Desired Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience managing technology and/or business services in financial services technology at large scale.
  • 5+ years of senior level leadership experience managing a complex organization including senior managers, managers, individual contributors and vendor resources across multiple global locations.
  • Demonstrated prior experiences in effective engagement with senior business and/or technology leaders and executives
  • Experience in IT asset management
  • Holistic understanding of Application life cycle and events that trigger data changes
  • Strong relevant prior experiences in effective management of technology financials and risk.
  • Ability to effectively drive and lead change in an organization with Wells Fargos size, scale and complexity.
  • Demonstrated experience in building, leading, developing and retaining a high performing team of leaders, strong technical experts and high performing professionals in a cultural environment that achieves results through team member engagement and satisfaction.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a large portfolio of technology and/or business services and effectively partner/influence at the senior executive level.
  • Demonstrated experience motivating and influencing groups or individuals across organizational boundaries to gain trust and confidence to make timely decisions.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) with ability to communicate at multiple levels ranging from technologists to senior managers and executive leadership.
