GENERAL PURPOSE FOR POSITION:


The primary purpose of this position is to manage, maintain, monitor and support the infrastructure environment for the company, including, but not limited to, the systems and applications stated below, and to perform troubleshooting of a user's computer, phone or any electronically used device in the office.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Manage Active Directory, Windows Server and Exchange Server
  • Manage Shoretel system
  • Manage Cisco IOS and Meraki
  • Manage with VMware Enterprise
  • Manage SQL Server
  • Familiar with Teamviewer
  • Assist in remote support of European IT Operations
  • Receive users requests from call tickets or emergency call the internal help desk line
  • Manage and maintain desktops/workstations throughout office
  • Verify issue and resolution with users as necessary
  • Update the ticket on how the issue was resolved
  • Assist in troubleshooting future problems
  • Respond to urgent issues via phone or in person as needed
  • Organize and keep documents and records
  • Communicate on a daily basis in person, via phone, e-mail and other forms of communication with both internal and external resources


Skills/Education/Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree in computer science
  • Four years of related professional experience
  • Excellent communication (verbal, written, listening) skills
  • Must have a good understanding of company IT processes
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize, balance and manage multiple efforts with strong results/goal orientation
  • Ability to use time effectively and to prioritize and organize workflow
  • Strong decision making ability
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner and develop alternative solutions
  • Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & accounting software
  • Must have good data entry skills
  • Must have strong attention to detail
  • Must have strong organizational skills
  • A+ Certification
  • Windows Server 2003, 2008 R2, 2012
  • Exchange
  • VMware
  • Cisco IOS and Meraki
