Our highly recognized client is currently seeking a skilled Technical Support Engineer in the lower Westchester ny area. We need an individual who is a problem-solver and has a proven track record of resolving challenging user computing issues. The Technical Support Engineer will analyze and resolve end user (onsite and remote) hardware and software computer problems in a timely and accurate fashion. The Technical Support Engineer will also analyze and resolve software application issues and work closely with the Support Manager to ensure correct resolution. Candidates must be energetic possess a strong motivation to learn new technologies and provide remarkable customer service. Traveling up to 25% is a requirement for this position.


Requirements


Background:



  • 3 or more years overall in a business IT support role
  • 1 or more technical certifications (MCP, MCSE)
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or technical school


Technical Experience:



  • Microsoft Windows Desktop OS
  • Office 365 Business and Enterprise Editions
  • Desktop Hardware Configuration and Management
  • Microsoft Dynamics (SL / GP)
  • Mobile Device Management - MaaS 360
  • Active Directory Administration and User Management
  • Background in enterprise software support and training a plus


Coordinator:



  • Acts as a first contact for all clients and creates an inviting, professional atmosphere
  • Discusses client needs and desires for improvements
  • Oversees user production and solves problems as they arise
  • Maintains office and user equipment
  • Follows up with clients and vendors
  • Investigates possible business issues
  • Trains new hires on expectations and daily activities


Qualified Candidates Must Be:



  • Customer service driven
  • Professional and articulate over the phone



  • Able to work independently or receive / execute directions from other remote engineers
  • Willing to work in a fast past environment
  • Able to work in small offices or large corporate buildings
  • Have ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Able to travel up to 25%
  • be okay with coordinating calls and distributing them to other tech support individuals
