Essential Responsibilities:



  • Serves as a point of contact for multiple client projects. Works with internal departments on all facets of project preparation and successful execution, including issue resolutions.
  • Identifies and anticipates client needs, and independently manages client projects.
  • Consults with clients and advises them on workflow and project processes by phone, email, or in person.
  • Responsible for nurturing and developing effective and positive relationships with clients, including effectively identifying and anticipating client needs.
  • Effectively diffuses complex client situations and promotes Merrill as a whole while in the execution of the project.
  • Ensures proper documentation for job tracking, work orders, project notes and billing information is accurate and timely.
  • Ensures project deliverables for client are accurate, timely, and monitors progress on project deliverables.
  • Prepares and uploads client materials (hard and soft copy) .
  • Follows all Best Practices, Policies and Procedures.

  • Requires a demonstrated service orientation with a desire to exceed customer expectations, and demonstrated ability to achieve results.
  • Requires ability to effectively manage and negotiate client expectations, as well as the ability to thoroughly understand and train clients on the components of systems.
  • Delegates and effectively utilizes support resources. Incumbents are detail oriented and adaptable and flexible to changing work environment.
  • Requires ability to work within a team environment and multi task in a time sensitive and deadline driven highly technical environment.
  • Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Demonstrated detail orientation and follow-through required.

Position Requirements



  • BA/BS degree in business or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of previous experience in a client service environment required.
  • Proven technical skills and abilities, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe and web-related applications required.
