Our Fortune 500 Client is need of a Technical Analyst with a special focus on Application Support, Network, and Hardware within the Technology Services team for Financial Institute supporting the enterprise.

Job Description: Technical Analyst:

The Technical Analyst will provide support to the business on all Information Technology related issues and initiatives, exchange and active account management, business continuity, review applications and assist with access requirements, technical support, technical administrative support (passwords, logons, and credentials), supporting key applications, browser application, assisting with user set up and user privileges, perform audits on IT assets, support network and hardware issues, ensure compliance of all IT standard policies, procedures, and best practices. Conduct surveys and data collection activities, partner with project leaders on all business initiatives to design and develop the required infrastructure, recommend system or process enhancements, execution of project deliverables. View and monitor all support incidents in area of responsibility, serve as liaison between users, vendors and technical groups to resolve issues. Work with service providers to ensure IT operational support, maintenance, problem solving, configuration and installation.

Minimum Required:

  • Experience in developing solutions to complex business problems
  • Experienced in working in a cross functional environment
  • Demonstrated competency in the following areas:
  • Network & Infrastructure
  • Application Knowledge
  • Network, Software, and Hardware
  • PC & Deskside
  • Vendor Management
  • Project Deployment & Management
  • Maintain documentation for all support and issue resolution tasks associated with support of the application.

  • Ability to work within a team environment as well as independently.
  • Expertise in setting and managing customer expectations.
  • Experience in defining and documenting end user requirements.
  • Strong technical documentation skills.
  • Good time management skills with the ability to self-manage support/issue priorities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize work and approach tasks with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team and manage multiple projects efficiently.
  • Good technical knowledge as well as a clear understanding of finance and financial applications
  • Ability to adapt to changes, and resolving conflict
  • Strong service provider management

Preferred Level:

  • Fresh Grad to 1-2yrs with technical experience required or advancing through progressive levels of technical competence and development within course projects
  • Standard project methodology
  • Financial Knowledge and background (past banking experience or technical support for a bank a major plus)
  • Prior experience in help desk support, field support, application support, technical administration
  • Solid knowledge of Windows and Microsoft suites

Nice To Have Skills:

  • Basic Programming skills IE: Java, PHP, Node.js.
  • Basic Understanding of web server concepts.
  • Basic Knowledge and or course work in Digital Transformation
  • Project Management Experience
