Enterprise Information Security (EIS) is part of Wells Fargo's Corporate Risk organization. Wells Fargo views information security as enabling lines of business to mitigateinformation securityrisk in accordance with our risk appetite. EIS Tech Relationship Manager 4 (For Community Banking, Consumer Lending and Payments, Virtual Solutions and Innovation (PVSI)

Location is flexible including telecommute.

We have a new opportunity for a Tech Relationship Manager 4 within the Enterprise Information Security (EIS), Risk Leadership and Management (RLM) group. RLM is responsible for influencing information security risk management across the enterprise and is critical in helping Wells Fargo manage their information security risks. RLM has responsibility for Business Process Information Security, Third Party Information Security Management, Workforce Accountability, and Information Security Risk Management domains.This newlycreated role will partner with the Group Information Security Leader (Group ISL) for the Community Banking, Consumer Lending and Payments, Virtual Solutions and Innovation (PVSI) group and with the Information Security Leader(s) (ISLs) aligned to this group. This positon will establish relationships with business, technology and risk partners while ensuring that information security risks are appropriately identified and managed.

A successful candidate will have the experience and ability to establish sound working relationships, understand the functions of the business and identify risky information security situations while ensuring that appropriate mitigating controls are established. This person will need to have experience working in a tele-commuting model and will be comfortable forging relationships and influencing people through telephone conversations. Must be able to prioritize and manage their day-to-day activities commensurate with the stated objectives for the role without a high degree of direction. The selected individual will work closely with the Group ISL and aligned ISLs to ensure that information security risks are identified, discussed, dispositioned, appropriately mitigated or escalated for further review.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Provides information security expertise and proactive risk-based solutions to aligned business and/or applicable teams that report to aligned Group Chief Information Officer (CIO) so that information security risks are addressed in a timely manner;
  • Works closely with the Group Operational Risk Officer (GORO) teams to proactively identify needed security practices within the business;
  • Provides technical understanding of existing and emerging information security risks;
  • Assists with the monitoring, reporting and tracking of EIS programs within the business;
  • Provides business views to Enterprise Info Security (EIS) Group ISL and/or aligned Information Security Leaders (ISLs);
  • Evaluates the appropriateness of policy exceptions and risk acceptances;
  • Assists the aligned Group ISL and/or ISLs with providing strategic-level consultation to managers and stakeholders regarding long and short range information security risk/requirements;
  • Recommends innovations that anticipate future directions of both the business, Information Technology and Information Security.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of technology delivery and relationship management experience with a client organization
  • 8+ years of information security risk management program experience with at least 3 of those years of experience within consumer banking, payments, lending or innovation risk management

  • Relationship management experience delivering technology services between one or more internal technology organizations large internal lines of business

  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, LiveMeeting and SharePoint) skills
  • A BS/BA degree or higher



Other Desired Qualifications
  • Experience collaborating with cross-organizational groups and functions, including technology, risk management and major business groups, etc.;
  • Strong understanding of expected controls (e.g. market, credit, finance, compliance, operations) across a variety of complex businesses;
  • Knowledge and a broad background in evaluating, measuring and managing financial and reputation risk arising from information security risks;
  • Proven ability to analyze data and raise potential risks to management;
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills, including the ability to negotiate with numerous parties and reach agreeable solutions;
  • Experience with Wells Fargos corporate organizational structure, the operational risk processes, and the systems necessary to manage information security risks;
  • Proven ability and experience in being able to look at the big picture across a risk program and implement successful strategy and solution;
  • Ability to synthesize data from a variety of sources and deliver results quickly;
  • Computer proficiency including databases, and an understanding of banking systems and software.
