Enterprise Information Security within Wells Fargo is seeking a Technology Relationship Manager for facilitating the relationship between the Application Penetration Testing Teams (primarily FFIEC Regulatory Testing Team) and all lines of business/CIO areas by facilitating the delivery of Application Penetration Testing services (primarily FFIEC Regulatory Testing services). This TRM will share responsibility in supporting the team in several areas, specifically project workflow, project management, vendor management, and management of testing initiatives. This TRM will act as single point of contact for new service delivery from solution planning to sizing/estimating to fulfillment. Influences application penetration testing service implementation by gathering and reviewing application information with testing delivery needs, working with penetration testing teams to determine if standard solution will work or if custom solution is necessary, and recommending the best option to the proceed, including providing guidance on implementation of new application penetration testing services. Requests sizing estimates and reviews for reasonableness. Ensures service quality and cost-effectiveness of solutions. Monitors high profile projects to ensure requests are met on time and within sizing, keeping all parties informed of impacts and changes. Maintains regular contact with LOBs, CIO areas, and application penetration testing management. Conducts research and analysis of competitive market environment for innovative business products and services, regulatory/compliance issues, and implications of new implementations. This role will be accountable for developing workflows, processes, and documenting the status to support management initiatives.

This technology relationship manager will partner with Security Operations Center, Information Security Line of Business leaders, other Cyber Threat Management managers, platform centers of excellence teams, QA teams, and development teams to ensure security tests for applications in scope are planned, resourced, initiated, and completed successfully. Incumbents are knowledgeable of the company's various systems and processes supporting application security testing and application defect management.

The Technology Relationship Manager will:

  • Manage relationships with CIO area partners and LOB partners
  • Facilitate new service delivery of application pen testing services to LOBs and CIO areas
  • Assist with communicating Application Penetration Testing program information to various levels of personnel in security, technology, and business areas
  • Organize, prepare deliverables, and run various meetings for the application penetration testing programs in individual CIO Areas and LOBs
  • Provide occasional on-call problem resolution escalation for Enterprise Availability Coordination Office (EACO) in a 24x7 environment as required
  • Assist with application penetration testing program issue escalation and problem resolution as required
  • Interact with direct reports, partners, peer managers, and mid to senior level management, to drive successful completion of testing scope, awareness of Application Penetration Testing Services, and to facilitate continual process improvement. This will cross all lines of business and CIO areas.
  • Actively participate on improving the security culture and education throughout the organization.
  • Meet with and provide updates to EIS management on issues and status regarding the Application Pen Testing programs
  • Prepare other ad hoc management level and audit material/documentation as required
  • Establish understanding of and enforce Enterprise Information Security policies


Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of technology delivery and relationship management experience with a client organization
  • 6+ years of information security experience

  • Relationship management experience delivering technology services between one or more internal technology organizations large internal lines of business
  • Knowledge and understanding of vulnerability assessments and facilitating vulnerability remediation in a corporate environment
  • Ability to negotiate and facilitate issue resolution
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision in a structured environment

  • Knowledge and understanding of information security principles, policies, and procedures

  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
