Wells Fargo Credit Card, Cobranded Credit Card and Retail Private Label Cards are a big growth area focus for Wells within the Payment Virtual Solutions and Innovation (PVSI) organization.

In the next generation Card Transformation strategy there will be significant emphasis on digital and data integration to promote growth using One Wells philosophy and drive automation learning from data, and deploying machine learning/robotic process automation.

This role is seen as a fit for very seasoned technology leader who can influence business partners and peer EIT technology groups to adopt and prioritize technology and projects that will drive Card business growth while adopting One Wells technology strategy for Customer Experience through digitization.

To support the business growth & transformation, we are creating a role in Card and Retail services technology to drive Card Digital & Data strategies and solution.

This is a senior thought leader and execution role that will be accountable for:

1) Engaging with the business leaders and understand their data needs and align them to Enterprise Blueprint data roadmap

2)Engaging in the Card 2.0 transformation roadmap for Wells Fargo Card and Retail services and ensure implementation is in line with the Customer Experience strategy (One Wells)

3)Partnering with EIT Data and Digital Leaders to prioritize Card initiatives

4)Partnering with Architecture and Card Technology leads to craft the next generation technology solution

5)Managing a portfolio of projects to the tune of $20MM

Required Qualifications

12+ years of application development and implementation experience7+ years of management experience in technology10+ years of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Programming experience8 + years of Java Web Services experience3+ years of mobile solutions engineering experience

Experience managing all application development efforts within a medium-size line of businessExperience effectively interacting with a variety of contacts, primarily with others at the executive levelAbility to interact with all levels of an organizationAbility to identify business needs and deliver solutions in close partnership with line of business and technologyVirtual leadership experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environmentExperience developing and executing business vision, strategies, and goals.Ability to manage vendor relationships for products or services including: contract negotiation, oversight, and SLA management

Other Desired Qualifications

Business Leadership
Strong financial management experience managing multiple accounting units concurrently including base and incremental budgets, project budgets, and cost allocation models.
Experience in driving organizational transformation to meet evolving business climate and demands.
Demonstrated experience partnering with direct and in-direct business line senior leaders in long range strategic planning and ensuring integration with enterprise-wide technology strategy. This includes experience and the ability to balance all the different considerations and sensitivities with partners and influence positive strategic direction.
Aptitude for complex problem solving and a pragmatic results orientation

Technical Leadership
Past experience leading Data projects preferably in Credit cards to implement Big Data, Analytics Tool (SAS, Tableau, Alteryx, Kyvos etc.)
Ability to manage large, multitier technology efforts, driving initiatives to resolution
Lead projects to implement that embraces current generation technology for partner integration like Application Programming Interfaces (API) , Micro-Services
Exposure to private/public cloud technology as a user
Hands on technology leadership

People Leadership
Demonstrated ability to effectively drive and lead organizational change.
Demonstrated track record of successfully building organizational capability including high performing teams, process, and technology. This includes a keen focus and proven results in identify talent gaps and developing a cultural environment that achieves results through team member engagement, customer loyalty and satisfaction.
Serves as a role model demonstrating commitment to diversity and inclusion and Wells Fargos culture and core values.
