The Enterprise Core Services Technology team is looking for a highly experienced technology manager to drive our Customer Due Diligence platform to meet the heightened regulatory expectations. This senior technology manager role will be responsible for Customer Due Diligence in Wholesale Core Services Technology.

We are looking for a highly-specialized technology manager to lead a team of 200+ FTE and contract team members and several applications to deliver new development, maintenance, and application support across multiple technologies. The Customer Due Diligence platform is a highly visible, high-priority set of applications residing on multiple technologies. The platform is used across all Wholesale LOBs and is pivotal to merger and acquisition activity. The platform will be used by thousands of internal users who are onboarding and supervising up to 300,000 clients.

The manager in this role will have the opportunity to influence technology decisions and contribute to a service-based strategy for meeting the broader regulatory and compliance needs of the Wholesale organization.

This leader will report to the CIO of Data Technology. Responsibilities will include:

  • Lead 200+ person team across multiple geographies
  • Responsible for managing compliance solutions for Wholesale businesses and directly manage Compliance Development teams
  • Building and managing the CDD technology team
  • Establishing development practices between US and EGS teams
  • Ensuring platform support teams are staffed and trained appropriately
  • Managing relationship with Wholesale Operational Risk and Compliance, Wholesale Technology and Technology Infrastructure Groups
  • Matrix accountability for Program/Project management, Architecture/Strategy, Quality Assurance, Risk/Compliance and Security

Required Qualifications

  • 12+ years of application development and implementation experience
  • 7+ years of management experience in technology
  • 10 + years of technology management experience
  • 5 + years of experience creating and implementing strategic plans and roadmaps at the executive level for enterprise wide business initiatives

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience managing all application development efforts within a medium-size line of business
  • Experience effectively interacting with a variety of contacts, primarily with others at the executive level
  • 5+ years of financial crimes experience
  • 5+ years of BSA/AML experience
  • SOA (Services Oriented Architecture) experience
  • Ability to develop and integrate data driven and analytical decision making for product and service operational activities
  • Big Data experience

Other Desired Qualifications
  • 5 + years financial crimes compliance including CDD, AML, KYC
  • Demonstrated design principles and best practices in implementing SOA solutions
  • Excellent relationship and partnership skills, ability to work closely and influence decision making with partners
  • Designing and developing traditional and big data solutions for business problems
  • Application delivery experience within the financial services domain
  • Managing large globally dispersed development, platform and support teams
  • Establishing and directing IT strategy for a line of business
  • Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science, or related discipline
  • Must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a very fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Must be able to articulate complex concepts and be able to tailor the message to different audiences including senior leadership, technical teams, operations and line of business partners
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills: demonstrated proficiency of identifying risks, proposing and implementing controls
  • Previous experience managing a high-volume or critical production service environment
  • Demonstrated experience implementing data security techniques
  • Strong understanding of operational risk & compliance
  • Previous Java development
