Its an exciting time to be a part of Wells Fargos Mainframe Job Scheduling team. This position will help shape Wells Fargos mainframe batch processing environment through innovative and proven delivery of jobs scheduling services that meet our customers needs. As a support consultant in Wells Fargos Technology Infrastructure group, you will be responsible for researching and implementing mainframe job scheduling changes and perform required tasks to ensure a stable and secure batch-processing environment. Your primary responsibilities will involve working with application developers, systems engineers and other team members to deliver best-in-class scheduling solutions.

The position will report into the Job Scheduling Services Manager within the Technology Infrastructure division.


Design, build, and optimize jobs and job networks using best practices and input from application and infrastructure teams Perform calendar maintenance to ensure ongoing job scheduling function Review and approve/reject access requests to job scheduling tools based on job role and need. Be a key contributor to job scheduling projects, helping translate business needs into an efficient scheduling solution, implementing solutions, and working on delivery of results. Contribute to the evaluation of new software techniques and technologies, providing user testing and preparation of results.

Required Qualifications

7+ years of systems support analysis experience7+ years of CA 7 and CA 11 experience (Computer Associates)7+ years of mainframe experience

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills5+ years of JCL (Job Control Language) experience5+ years of TSO (Time Sharing Options) experience1+ year of experience with SAS or SQL, or other data management, reporting and query tools2 + years of experience with SharePoint Designer2 + years of experience with SharePoint Designer workflowsIntermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skillsAdvanced problem solving and technical troubleshooting capabilitiesStrong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

Job Expectations

Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed or scheduledFlexibility to address incidents as needed 24 hours a dayFlexibility to frequently be on call beyond normal working hoursFlexibility to work in a 24/7 environment, including weekends and holidaysAbility to travel up to 5% of the time

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.NC-Charlotte: Min: $96,300 Mid: $137,500NC-Raleigh: Min: $96,300 Mid: $137,500
