This technical lead position is a part of EBSav Level 2 Organization performing a variety of duties on a day to day basis including test and production support, application maintenance and monitoring implementation.

Provide high-level technical systems consultation within a technology organization. Duties are varied and may include one or more of the following:

  • Actively participates in the development of technical support strategies and plans
  • Acts as an internal consultant regarding use of tools and process re-engineering to improve delivery, support and governance process execution
  • Provides complex technical expertise for technical issues and initiatives related to large-scale applications, systems,
  • databases and/or other technical products and services
  • Oversees the creation of diagnostic, simulation and other tools to maintain, enhance and/or restore service or data to systems
  • Evaluates service level agreement criteria, identifies gaps in current technology process and recommends changes to assure SLAs can be supported
  • Leads support projects and migrations from development to production, upgrades, installations and/or configurations
  • Identifies and drives resolution of complex network, hardware and software issues
  • Develops and negotiates workarounds
  • Initiates longer-term design solutions or projects
  • Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported areas
  • Creates root cause analysis RCA for production incidents
  • Analyzes application performance trends through OLA review and recommends performance improvements to development team
  • Assesses changes for risk to production systems and assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported areas
  • Oversees creation of or updates to and testing of the business continuation plan
  • Provides direction or guidance to less experienced staff

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of systems support analysis experience
  • 7+ years of application production support experience
  • 7+ years of Java experience
  • 7+ years of Linux experience
  • 7+ years of Oracle experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • 5+ years of Splunk experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of AppDynamics
  • Knowledge and understanding of uDeploy
  • Ability to provide leadership by coaching, training, and mentoring
  • Good analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Outstanding problem solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Ability to work effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations
  • Ability to address escalated customer issues
