Job Description

Provides technical systems support within a technology organization.

Duties are varied and may include one or more of the following:
Provides support for highly complex technical issues and initiatives related to large-scale applications, systems, and databases and/or other technical products and services;
Uses/creates diagnostic, simulation and other tools to maintain, troubleshoot and restore service or data to systems;
Evaluates service level agreement criteria, identifies gaps in current technology process and recommends changes to assure SLAs can be supported;
Performs migrations from development to production, upgrades, installations and/or configurations;
May evaluate or review queries to extract data, create standard databases, or perform limited programming to fine tune systems supported;
Completes project sizing;
Updates/writes documentation and procedures and provides related training;
Troubleshoots network, hardware and software issues and coordinates resolution with users, vendors and internal service groups; writes/designs test scripts;
Creates change or issue logs; analyzes performance trends and recommends process improvements;
Assesses changes for risk to production systems and assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported areas;
Updates, creates and tests the business continuation plan;
May coordinate project resources and provide guidance to less experienced analysts.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of systems support analysis experience
  • 2+ years of Remedy experience
  • 2+ years of experience creating pivot tables and performing data analysis in Excel

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience working with changing priorities and deadlines
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

Other Desired Qualifications

Familiarity with Asset Management concepts and tools
Proficient with Remedy Asset Console
Familarity with the TAM (Technology Asset Management) standards and processes as they apply to the Desktop category within Wells Fargo
Familiarity and proficiency with the ITAM NDEX Daiy Discrepancy Remediation process
Familiar with the Asset Discrepancy Workflow tool, ADW.
Familiarity with discovery tools such as Lan Central, NDEX, CFR, Pharos, etc.
Familiar with Remedy Bulk Import Process
Experience with the Lan Central system in the Wells Fargo environment
Ability to organize and analyze large data sets, identify trends, and propose reasonable action items
Experienced with technical documentation.
Ability to track, monitor and manage team tasks and report status and surface issues and off track items as necessary to maintain forward momentum
Experience with printer support, lifecycle and processes
Familiarity/Experience with the Reverse Logistics process and sites
Proficient with advanced Excel functions such as Pivot tables
Must be pro-active and able to propose solutions to the work group
