Wells Fargo Technology sets IT strategy; enhances the design, development, and operations of our systems; optimizes the Wells Fargo infrastructure footprint; provides information security; and enables continuous banking access through in-store, online, ATM, and other channels to Wells Fargos more than 70 million global customers.

Provides technical systems support within a technology organization. Duties are varied and may include one or more of the following:
Provides support for highly complex technical issues and initiatives related to large-scale applications, systems, databases and/or other technical products and services; uses/creates diagnostic, simulation and other tools to maintain, troubleshoot and restore service or data to systems; evaluates service level agreement criteria, identifies gaps in current technology process and recommends changes to assure SLAs can be supported; performs migrations from development to production, upgrades, installations and/or configurations; may evaluate or review queries to extract data, create standard databases, or perform limited programming to fine tune systems supported; completes project sizing; updates/writes documentation and procedures and provides related training; troubleshoots network, hardware and software issues and coordinates resolution with users, vendors and internal service groups; writes/designs test scripts; creates change or issue logs; analyzes performance trends and recommends process improvements; assesses changes for risk to production systems and assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported areas; updates, creates and tests the business continuation plan; may coordinate project resources and provide guidance to less experienced analysts.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of systems support analysis experience5+ years of experience securing server virtualization technologies such as VMWare ESX, ESXi, vCenter and KVM5+ years of technical troubleshooting experience

Desired Qualifications

Knowledge and understanding of SAN (Storage Area Network)Knowledge and understanding of network infrastructure including routers and switches2+ years of experience with scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, Python, Shell, VBScript, or JavaScriptKnowledge and understanding of technology support: on call support management oversight in a 24x7 environmentKnowledge and understanding of technology support: open tickets or calls with vendors Ability to grasp complex business issues quickly, recommend solutions, and drive for resolutions

Other Desired Qualifications Must have a positive customer service attitude and willingness to work with customers less familiar with the technology. Occasional 2nd and 3rd shift work may be necessary. Will be asked to carry a cell phone for after hours support.Salary Information
