Wells Fargo Technology sets IT strategy; enhances the design, development, and operations of our systems; optimizes the Wells Fargo infrastructure footprint; provides information security; and enables continuous banking access through in-store, online, ATM, and other channels to Wells Fargos more than 70 million global customers.

Provide support for highly complex technical issues and initiatives related to large-scale applications and infrastructure for Wholesale International. In this job you will use/create diagnostic, simulation and other tools to maintain, troubleshoot and restore service or data to systems; manage availability and performance of these systems to meet service level criteria, identifies gaps in current technology process and recommend changes to assure SLAs can be supported; perform migrations from development to production, technical validation of system & security patching and upgrades, code installations and/or configurations; may evaluate or review queries to extract or fix data, update and maintain documentation and procedures; troubleshoots network, hardware and software issues and coordinates resolution with users, vendors and internal service groups; writes/designs test scripts; creates change or issue logs; analyze performance trends and recommend process improvements; assess changes for risk to production systems and assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met. Tests the business continuation plan and provide input for updates to keep current; and may coordinate project resources and provide guidance to less experienced analysts.

Daily support and troubleshooting of application issues such as:

Daily interactions with the business. Troubleshooting Linux Systems, MQ and DataPower flows. Communications of impact to leadership during incident or outages. Execution of key production releases and validation. Setting up, tuning and actively watching/reacting to alerts from the platforms monitoring systems. Engaging with users and system partners on reported issues through enterprise conference lines, chat and emails Identifying inefficient support tasks and implementing alternative methods. Working closely with key members of the development team on performance analysis of transactions. The person must be self-motivated, and responsible for independently handling client/business expectation; address any queries and concerns raised by stakeholders. Out of hours/weekend coverage is involved, which is handled by the team in rotation.

Essentials Skills and Qualifications:

Experience with IBM WebSphere DataPower. Strong and technical understanding of Python. Strong and technical understanding of MQ Series. Background in java programming is a plus. Experienced on high availability systems and Business Continuity Process in enterprise class data centers. Good troubleshooting and problem solving skills. Ability to forge strong relationships with key stake holders across both the Business and IT orgs. Ability to identify repetitive tasks or failures and improve the process by reducing repetitive items.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate with both external and internal end users Ability to prioritize and manage personal workload and as part of larger teams Familiarity of financial products and applications.
