Wells Fargo Wholesale & Wealth Technology Platform services division is seeking an Systems Support Analyst to provide Level 2 Application Production Support for cornerstone application which is used for customer due diligence, AML and accommodates multiple lines of businesses across global locations satisfying multiple regulatory jusrisdictions.

Level 2 support comprises of senior application support personnel and is responsible for making sure that application is available during business hours or as agreed by the stakeholders. Support is provided by follow the sun model and is escalation point for engagement by technology, business & operations for all application issues. In addition the resource would be responsible for incident triage, root cause anlysis, change evaluation-execution-validation along with service delivery and transition. Works closely with development and infrastructure partners like middleware, database, network etc. This role requires mid to senior level technologists in general with 5-10 years of experience.

Description of Work Performed:

  • Responsible for all application support functions including technical triage, problem management, application change, validation, release management and portfolio management
  • Participates and resolves all incidents - Sev 1-5
  • Analyze, research, troubleshoot and complete all service requests escalated by L1 or business/product teams
  • Point of contact for corrective actions post incident and assists in root cause analysis
  • Ensures that all risk & compliance activities are on track by taking necessary actions and/or closing requests
  • Conducts annual business continuity application recovery plans in conjunction with development/Operations partners
  • Responsible for monitoring and alerts. Partners with development and other tech groups to improve automation.
  • Performs break fix and support during outages and for application enhancements outside net new/enhanced development function
  • On point for application capacity and availability assessments in production
  • Responsible for all aspects of application post change, release & disruption for operational readiness.
  • Ensures that all incidents and requests are logged into system of record.
  • Project, program or one time initiatives support and participation.

    Position must sit in Charlotte, NC. Position requires working on-site during regular working hours (M-F) and flexibility to provide support remotely during off-hours (including holidays) as needed. Domestic travel may be required up to 25% of the time.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of systems support analysis experience
  • 2+ years of application production support experience

Desired Qualifications

  • 2+ years of IBM BPM experience
  • 2+ years of Informatica experience
  • 2 + years of experience supporting or designing complex ETL production environments
  • 2+ years of database experience
  • 2+ years of Splunk experience
  • 2+ years of HP ALM experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of system monitoring and automation
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Other Desired Qualifications
  • Strong working experience in IBM BPM 8.5.7
  • Good knowledge / work experience in integration of BPM with IBM IID 8.5.7 and ODM (decision manager)
  • Strong work experience with major database management systems, e.g. DB2, Oracle, SQL Server.
  • Good experience in creatively debugging complex system problems spanning entire hosting stack (application, server, communication channels, networking components, etc), resulting in problem determination and restoration thorough research and fact finding.
  • Strong demonstrated experience working with vendors products and interacting with vendors on technical issues and resolutions.
  • SOAP and RESTFUL services experience
  • Experience in reporting/monitoring tools like Splunk, Appdynamics, DynaTrace
  • CDD/AML/KYC prior experience
  • Knowledge of IBM BPM, Process Designer, Integration Designer, Informatica,ET, Oracle Databases.
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Independent problem solving ability
  • Excellent organizational skills & multi-tasking ability
  • Experience with Business Process Implementation in the Banking services arena a plus
  • Experience with high-volume scalable environments.
  • Familiar with agile development practices.
