Job Description

This is a position for a Trading Floor System Support Analyst 3. This candidate will provide technical support services and issues resolution to our business partners. This individual must be self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities; Proven ability to be flexible and work hard, both independently and in a team environment, in a high pressure on-call environment with changing priorities. A results oriented individual who thrives working in a fast paced environment.

  • End-to-end support of Trading floor infrastructure
  • Uses diagnostic and other tools to maintain, troubleshoot and restore service or data to systems
  • Assist in migrations, installations and/or configurations as needed
  • Interacts effectively with line of business partners, system architects from related IT disciplines, and peer architects/engineers to develop/enhance team documentation
  • Participates in testing the business continuity plan as needed
  • Collaborate with peers to create and maintain end-user install, user, reference and specification guides
  • Assist in developing production standards and/or make recommendations for improvements in overall production to the trading floor network infrastructure
  • Support trading floor networks between local and remote customer sites
  • Perform pre-trading daily health checks
  • Ability to work varying shifts and on-call responsibilities
  • Excellent with Incident and Problem management along with RCA
  • Utilize Trouble ticket systems (Remedy/PAC2K) to record all work
  • Participate and/or complete production changes in the environment, normally outside of standard business hours, following established enterprise change procedures, with focus on minimizing risk and impact to the existing production environment
  • Knowledge of turret infrastructure (Unify, Speakerbus, IPC)
  • Knowledge of Cisco CUCM
  • Mentor team
  • Lead EACO troubleshooting calls
  • Analyze/audit infrastructure

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of systems support analysis experience
  • 3+ years of Cisco experience
  • 3+ years of TCP/ IP (Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol) experience
  • 3 + years of experience with VoIP implementation, engineering, architecture, or support experience on Enterprise Solutions with an emphasis on Real-Time Communications such as UC, video, Trader Voice or call recording
  • 3+ years of time-division multiplexing (TDM) experience
  • 3+ years of voice telecom experience
  • 2+ years of Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) experience
  • 1+ years of experience working with the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Framework

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge and understanding of voice and data network
  • Experience with end-to-end design and delivery oversight for Trader Voice network infrastructure
  • 1 + years of experience with end-to-end design and delivery oversight for Trader Voice network infrastructure
  • 2+ years of telecommunications experience
  • 2 + years of experience with end-to-end design and delivery oversight for Trader Voice network infrastructure

Other Desired Qualifications
  • 1+ Years of turret platform experience in a trading floor environment (required)
  • On-call required
  • Occasional weekend and off-hours required
