Automation Engineer will be responsible for working as part of the ESQA (Enterprise Quality Assurance) team specifically focusing on Customer Due Diligence (CDD) initiatives.

This role is for a functional lead who can carry the QAs work from end to end, experience leading different types of testing. Experience leading large projects with multiple concurrent projects. Ensure the project is on track and creating an effective test strategy- innovative ways to reduce the manual effort and reduce costs of QA. Will be a part of lead team and will lead a team of 20-25 team.

This position is responsible for:

Responsible for handling highly complex quality assurance and test environment problems and issues. Creates and Reviews Test Strategy, and Test approach for functional and automation testing based on Stories/BRDs/FSDs. Works with development teams to understand and review technical design to devise effective test strategy. Reviews automation frameworks, validation reports and automation metrics to effectively leverage automation. Works closely with Business and Technology partners on defect resolutions. Keeps test documentation up to date. Leads the creation, preparation, review and execution of quality assurance activities. Works with Business and Technology partners to establish and maintain a consistent test methodology and to resolve escalated issues during the testing process. Analyzes application specific software and performs ambiguity reviews of business requirements and technical functional specification documents. Uses advanced knowledge of applications in identifying, evaluating, and resolving highly complex test problems. Researches new products and industry methodologies and facilitates the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards for testing. Publishes periodic reports and metrics for management. Provides direction and guidance to less experienced staff to resolve critical and non-routine scenarios. Supports Production validations during late evenings and/or weekends Provides on-call support (if needed) outside regular office hours to troubleshoot issues and work with EGS and technology partnersRequired Qualifications

7+ years of information technology quality assurance and systems/application testing experience2+ years of Agile experience2 + years of leadership experience including coaching, training, and mentoring3+ years of environment test coordination, code deployment, release management and communication experience3+ years of implementing test automation using Selenium, web services or SQL

Desired Qualifications

Knowledge and understanding of creating test plans, test cases, test procedures, test scripts, and expected resultsExperience with various types and levels of testing (e.g., unit, integration, and system testing)Test planning and executing experience in systems such as: Test Tool, Quality Center, or ClearQuestExperience supporting or directing offshore teamsStrong, clear and concise written and oral communication skills2+ years of HP ALM experienceExperience with one or more Agile tools used for tracking user stories or backlogs, such as VersionOne and Team Foundation Server (TFS)Knowledge and understanding of technology testing: creation of test plans and test scenariosKnowledge and understanding of technology testing: creation or updating test data for manual and automated testing for highly complex or transactional systems

Other Desired Qualifications Test planning and executing experience using tools like ALM. Experience with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.Job Expectations
