Job Description

The ESQA team works in close collaboration with business analysts, designers, and developers, from the project definition stage, through development, and final deployment into production. We employ rigorous methodologies to identifyand resolve ambiguities, and to design and execute tests, and certify code. The team supports numerous applications with different technology stacks including:

  • StoreVision Teller (SVT)Stores / StoreVision Platform (SVP)
  • Contact Center Technologies
  • Digital Channels Technologies
  • Enterprise Business Services

In this position, we are looking for a senior level Systems QA Analyst to join the SVP (StoreVision Platform) testing team. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with the current SVP QA team and application partners to support ongoing projects for the banker platform.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assign tasks and/or project resources; provides work direction and monitors work progress and adherence to technical
  • Process controls/standards.
  • Provides subject matter expertise to less experienced analysts
  • Provide input to supervisors on team member performance.
  • Perform complex migrations from development to production, upgrades, installations and/or configurations
  • Responsible for reviewing, documenting, and assigning projects and their sizings
  • Partnering with our application development teams to clarify requirements and identify risks and incompatibilities with design to ensure certification of code with quality.
  • Lead testing discussions with partners to resolve testing challenges and provide solutions to complex test problems.
  • Troubleshoots network, hardware and software issues and coordinates resolution with users, vendors and internal service groups;
  • Work with clients to establish and maintain a consistent test methodology to resolve questions during the testing process.
  • May serve as a coordinator for all testing activities on a project, including organizing activities with other testers and outlining dependencies from development
  • Analyze, test, and certify application-specific software and perform ambiguity reviews of business requirements and use cases and functional specification documents.
  • Participate in planning and directing testing milestones/schedules andassignments, and monitoring project status in comparison to cost/time projections.
  • Log, track, and verify resolution of software and specification defects.
  • Document all phases of QA process.
  • Responsible for designing and distributing training materials.
  • Manage, direct, and escalate defect resolution

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of information technology quality assurance and systems/application testing experience
  • 5+ years of HP ALM experience
  • 5+ years of leadership or management experience
  • 5+ years of XML (Extensible Markup Language) experience
  • 2+ years of banking finance experience
  • 2+ years of Agile experience
  • 3+ years of Web Services experience
  • 5 + years of automation or regression testing experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge and understanding of creating test plans, test cases, test procedures, test scripts, and expected results
  • Experience with various types and levels of testing (e.g., unit, integration, and system testing)
  • Test planning and executing experience in systems such as: Test Tool, Quality Center, or ClearQuest
  • Leadership experience with ability to effectively manage and engage teams
  • Leadership experience including; coaching, training, and mentoring
  • Experience building partnerships and consulting effectively with leadership
  • Ability to communicate effectively with business partners and project managers
  • Experience developing and executing communication strategies by collaborating with large, matrixed teams
  • Knowledge and understanding of automated regression and maintaining scripts in regression

Other Desired Qualifications
  • A BS/BA degree or higher in science or technology
  • Experience with retail banking system user acceptance testing including, but not limited to, Store Vision Teller (SVT), Store Vision Platform (SVP), Mobile, ATM, Online Banking
  • Knowledge and understanding of technology testing: automation and data automation
  • Wells Fargo Retail banking experience
  • Demonstrated ability to lead team through efforts, sizing, forecasting and issue escalation and resolution

Job Expectations

  • Flexibility to address incidents as needed 24 hours a day
  • Flexibility to frequently be on call beyond normal working hours
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed
