The organization is now poised to not only deliver, but successfully optimize our applications technology solutions and continue to mature our broker/author model.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team in a role as a Systems QA Analyst.

In this role, you will pprovide technical consultation and support in the development of computer applications and programs. You will also be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designs and writing technical specifications to design or redesign computer solutions; as well as developing original and/or complex code or providing coding direction and guidance to less experienced staff.

Other responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Creating, preparing and implementing systems quality assurance reviews for numerous applications.
  • Responsible for primary development of testing strategies.
  • Consulting with users, providing advice and direction.
  • Performs more complex analysis of business requirements and system specifications.
  • May serve as a coordinator for all testing activities on a project.
  • Creates test plans and scripts for own projects. May lead and review test plans written by others.
  • Performs moderately complex to complex test data conditioning, regression testing and testing validation using ALM
  • Provides specific guidance on defects to developers. Gives direction to less experienced analysts.
  • Logs, tracks, and verifies resolution of software and specification defects in ALM and JIRA
  • Documents all phases of the Systems QA process.

The team member selected for this role must possess the ability to learn new skills and improve upon their current skills-set, a high degree of efficiency and motivation in work habits with the ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment as well as the ability to comprehend complexity, to fully understand a product with all of its business and technological implications, and to approach the improvement of its quality from that perspective.

Please note: This position is only open to applicants in San Francisco, CA. This position is not eligible for relocation assistance, therefore, you must reside in or around the target location or be able to relocate at your own expense.

This is a full time regular opportunity with a competitive compensation package to include a base salary, a potential bonus incentive payment and a benefits package to include medical, dental, optional plans, 401-K., etc. Other benefits include a generous PTO program and company paid holidays.



Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of information technology quality assurance and systems/application testing experience



Desired Qualifications

  • Ability to manage projects or programs following a Standard Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) approach, with scheduled release code deployments
  • Knowledge and understanding of automated testing frameworks for mobile software
  • Knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies: used in waterfall or Agile development projects
  • Test planning and executing experience in systems such as: Test Tool, Quality Center, or ClearQuest
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of creating test plans, test cases, test procedures, test scripts, and expected results
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy



Other Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with Responsive UI Testing and Knowledge of different breakpoints.
  • Device testing experience on both Apple and Android devices (phones/tablets/iPad/iPhone).
  • Experience with testing different UI components on different orientation.
  • Experience with cross Browser /OS testing.
  • Familiarity with Virtual Machine, Chrome Dev Tool,Firebug,FirePath
  • Experience in logging defects and familiar with bug life cycle
  • Experience with smartphone and tablets hosted at mobile labs such as Perfecto Mobile , Device Connect Mobile Labs or similar laboratories
