Join the Government and Institutional Banking Quality Assurance team assisting the manager as a team lead.

Responsibilities of this Quality Assurance Analyst 4 position may include:

  • Lead and mentor a virtual team of individuals who complete quality performance evaluations
  • Assist in the daily management of QA workflow andensuring the team is in compliance with Wells Fargo and E-Trading policy and procedure
  • Evaluates processes to identify risks and/or problems.Document and recommend changes to policy and procedures to improve overall services of Banker Connection.
  • Manage BAU (Business As Usual) reporting and trending for Line of Business leadership within the E-Trading Workspace.
  • Work with Line of Business Product Managers and Lead Developers to assist in their understanding of testing procedures of Government and Institutional Banking requirements and Governance Policies.
  • Liaison with technology teams concerning the Vertical and Horizontal Component Model as it pertains to end-to-end quality monitoring applications.
  • Manage workflow of functional and Regression Testing Efforts.
  • Train QA Analysts and Automation development staff on new or changing processes
  • Lead and coordinate with internal Automation team to streamline Testing Time to Market.
  • Able to lead testing coordinated initiatives with little to no direction.
  • Provide Direction and Guidance to less experienced staff to resolve critical and non-routine scenarios.

Responsible for handling the most complex quality assurance and assesses problems and issues to ensure activities follow the necessary internal and external regulatory and Government Controls and Policies. Regularly contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques and standards. The Electronic Trading Platform is an architecture that consists of multiple external/internal applications designed to facilitate the successful execution of Government and Institutional Deal approvals, and Legal Entity Maintenance process flow. Candidate should possess the responsibility of testing very complex in-house developed applications that support Government Deal process flow(s) that interact with various applications such as TRIP, NAPA, and GIB Compliance. Candidate must be able to testing end to end within a true client / Server technical structure in addition to downstream real-time compliance application that support Government and Institutional Banking (GIB)

This role will require the ability to troubleshoot, analyze and test legal entity maintenance information that derive from internal transaction deals and client data elements such as client characteristics, Pricing Date, Total Revenue, Par information, Cusip Data, market analytics, risk calculations, and price valuations that stem from various transactions. Candidate should be able to understand the multiple deal flow and required checklist(s) as it pertains to each government deal status.

Candidate will need to work closely with development teams to understand changes to the architecture that may produce bug fixes and enhancements to the Electronic Trading services. Successful execution of the role will require strict attention to detail around environment configuration for the regression tests, involving multiple envs and teams.

Candidate must develop effective test plans through consultation with clients and development team members (without formal Business Requirement Docs), maintain/upgrade/run the regression test cases, and document the process for Production support. Candidate must also have experience with Python Frameworks for automation purposes

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of information technology quality assurance and systems/application testing experience
  • 3+ years of experience testing end user applications and technology products
  • 6+ years of quality assurance experience
  • 8+ years of experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) tools
  • 8 + years of automation or regression testing experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge and understanding of creating test plans, test cases, test procedures, test scripts, and expected results
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Test planning and executing experience in systems such as: Test Tool, Quality Center, or ClearQuest
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Other Desired Qualifications
  • 1 + years of quality assurance experience within Government Institutional Banking
  • 2 years of experience in Automation Frameworks (Server(Linux/Unix/Python) and Client( UFT/ALM ).
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Quality Assurance (QA) analysis in the financial services industry(Capital Market Specific)
  • Outstanding problem solving and decision making skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of sales and service processes and procedures; preferably for Wells Fargo Community Bank and Regional Bank Line of Business
  • Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
  • Ability to communicate confidentially and professionally
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members and management
  • Leadership skills including; coaching, training, and mentoring
  • Experience performing quality assurance audits.
  • Able to communicate well while demonstrating focus in high stressful areas.
  • Ability to coordinate with team members in Offshore capacity
