Wells Fargo Wholesale Technology Services is looking for a Systems QA Analyst within the Wholesale ESQA group. The selected QA resource will be responsible for review of business requirements and other project documentation in preparation for test planning for Commercial Lending application and interfaces. This candidate will be responsible for WQA QA & UAT representation in the full end to end testing process. The candidate must be able to work independently and be a self-starter as well as possess strong analytical & organizational skills.

Selected candidate is expected to:

  • Engage in Waterfall/agile development practices including requirement gathering, story creation, backlog grooming, acceptance criteria creation, estimation, sub task creation, daily/weekly standup, demos, retrospectivesetc.
  • Collaborate with product owners to detect requirement ambiguities
  • Create comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, and other needed documentation to ensure high quality QA deliverables and accurate projected timelines
  • Conduct test planning on assigned projects; ensure all needed artifacts (test plan, test scripts, traceability matrix, etc.) are produced in the needed timeframe and are of expected quality
  • Provide test demos and conduct test result walkthrough for key stakeholders
  • Validate & enhance test scenarios & test scripts with additional negative cases, corner cases, scenarios
  • Participate in end-to-end testing activities with numerous interface partners
  • Review cross-functional testing coverage to ensure integration coverage
  • Schedule & monitor test runs
  • Act on failures & publish test results
  • Contribute to efficient and effective program and system solutions in solving medium-complex business problems
  • Perform test script execution
  • Ensure completeness of test coverage and timely signoff on testing activities
  • Build & execute exploratory tests on use cases/user stories, communicate risk, identify regression scenarios for automation, mentors non-testing project team members on testing
  • Build, maintain & enhance the automation pipeline
  • Leverage ALM & automation tools during development process such as Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, GitHub, HP
  • Work with developers during development life cycle and provide continues feedback
  • Develop clear understanding of the lower test environments utilized during testing process and help oversee management of those test environments
  • Required Qualifications

    3+ years of information technology quality assurance and systems/application testing experience3+ years of quality assurance experience2 + years of experience with Oracle queries2+ years of experience using HP ALM or other testing tools2+ years of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience2+ years of Agile experience2+ years of experience with databases such as Oracle, DB2, SQL server, or Teradata2+ years of QTP, UFT or WinRunner experience

    Desired Qualifications

    Knowledge and understanding of test plans, test cases, test procedures, test scripts, and expected resultsTest planning and executing experience in systems such as: Test Tool, Quality Center, or ClearQuestStrong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracyExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsKnowledge and understanding of Selenium software testing framework1+ year of mortgage, banking, or financial services experience

    Other Desired Qualifications
  • 2+ years of complete ETL (Extract, Transformation and Load) testing experience
  • Prior experience working with Loan origination/Credit applications
  • Familiarity with WCIS/IHUB/HR or other Wells Fargo System of Records
