The Defense group supports the Department of Defense (DoD) mission to keep our homeland and its citizens safe. We provide solutions to improve the Nation's defense by providing software, systems engineering, IT, training and logistics and fleet management solutions.

Responsibilities

Support the Army Cyber Command for the Joint Mission Operations Center (JMOC) within NSA facilities at Fort Gordon (FGGA). This support includes the ability to provide hardware/software installations and upgrades; network support; technical recommendations for future operations.

  • Senior staff that designs, develops, evaluates and modifies systems throughout their lifecycle.
  • Gathers, validates, and manages requirements. Assesses performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures.
  • Participates in system conceptual design and documentation.
  • Supports establishing system specifications and collaborates with engineering teams to develop systems.
  • Supports design reviews and test plans/procedures execution.
  • Mentors mid-level and junior staff.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience managing and supporting system requirements analysis, design, and development activities.
  • Significant expertise performing engineering analysis and issue resolution.
  • Analyzes and develops CONOPs, system architectures, and requirements.
  • Has developed specifications, drawings, and other engineering artifacts.
  • Experience supporting process engineering and optimization activities.
  • Mentors mid-level and junior staff.
  • Edu/Exp: HS 16+ Years, BA/BA 10+ Years, or MA/MS 8+ Year.
  • Requires DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification. Must be loaded in ATCTS.
  • Requires TS/ SCI with CI Polygraph.
  • Work at Ft Gordon, GA will use expanded M-F hours from 0600-2200 (split between the shifts of 0600-1400 and 1400-2200) with the intent to expand workdays to 24x7 hours for select personnel.
  • Ability to work effectively in a leadership-type role, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and ability to proactively engage with and advise government and contractor support
  • Experience analyzing large amounts of data and ability to prepare, write and present reports at the executive and/or congressional levels.
  • Display excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

Preferred Qualifications:
Linux user - intermediate level or above.
Knowledgeable in Centos and/or RedHat.
Python language and/or Ansible experience is a plus with some knowledge in scripting/programming skill.
VMware knowledge is a plus.
GitHub/VScode knowledge is a plus but not needed.
