Job Description

This position is for an experienced technology professional to provide system architecture support within the PVSI & Community Banking Technology Architecture team for the Digital Architecture Wholesale team.
This position will provide support for CEO Channel Technology initiatives within the Wholesale digital solution space. Commercial Electronic Office (CEO) portal is a Single sign on portal primarily for commercial and corporate business customers to access a wide array treasury management and other wholesale products and services. The common services include authentication, enrollment, fraud prevention, event messaging and customer communication etc. This position will play the role of senior architect in defining the technology strategy, supporting the initiatives in CEO channel space and will work closely with our business and technology partners in various Lines of Business throughout Wells Fargo.
The role requires this individual to take the lead on technology selection, troubleshoot issues, manage proof of concepts, and develop our own solutions and design frameworks. This role also assists in the evolution of software architecture frameworks and infrastructure technology to aid development and integration efforts for faster time to market.

The ideal candidate will possess application development experience, enterprise integration and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). Serves as the highest-level technical consultant to internal clients and technical management to ensure conformity with Enterprise Architecture, having expertise across a broad portion of the organizational unit's architecture, or in-depth expertise within a more specific portion of the architecture. Ensure alignment, participation, contribution, and compliance with the Wholesale Architecture program, including all associated Enterprise Architecture policies and standards.
The candidate must possess the ability to bring innovative yet practical ideas to the organization and the ability to communicate ideas to all levels for support, adoption and implementation. Candidate should be able to demonstrate the ability to apply core development principles, practices, and procedures to multiple applications. Candidate should have existing knowledge of technology trends and advancements and possess strong leadership, with the ability to command respect at all levels of the organization

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of information technology systems design and planning experience; in systems, applications, or architecture
  • 10+ years of information technology experience
  • 1+ year of UML (Unified Modeling Language) experience
  • 2+ years of experience with software architecture design principles and designing software solutions

  • Experience influencing management on technical or business solutions
  • Experience with a wide application of technical principles, practices, and procedures to multiple applications or a component family
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
  • Knowledge and understanding of application development, infrastructure, and architecture environments
  • Knowledge and understanding of applications: architecture, design, business functions, interfaces, dependencies, processing windows, volumes
  • Knowledge and understanding of Information Technology architecture design concepts, strategies, and standards
  • Knowledge and understanding of technology architecture: applications systems design and integration
  • Knowledge and understanding of technology architecture: development consultation including optimal design and configurations
