We are looking for an experienced engineer to perform or lead systems architecture development in support of radar product design efforts. The radar systems architect is responsible for the architecture definition, elaboration, documentation, as well as providing support to the requirements development, hardware and software design and development, performance analysis, signal processing algorithms design, verification and validation. This job requires interaction with radar design, validation, and production team members located around the global, and may require travel to other sites or customer site to support test and demonstration efforts. The ideal candidate should have an advanced degree in electrical engineering, or physics/math with demonstrated skills in some of the above mentioned areas. Good documentation and report generation skills are also required.


Specific Duties:



  • Develop system architecture for Radar Systems in an interdisciplinary team
  • Facilitate communication with involved engineering disciplines (HW, SW, RF)
  • Requirements analysis, including requirement allocation, traceability, verification
  • Develop innovative radar architectures and solutions and conduct reviews
  • Document the systems architectural design (SysML), including models, requirements analysis results, traceability matrices
  • Comply with Standards and Business Conduct Requirements

Education, Experience and Skills Requirements:



  • Masters in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering with 5+ years of experience. Degrees in other engineering and science fields with a focus in electronics or signal processing will also be considered.
  • The ideal candidate should have job experience in the following areas:
  • Requirements analysis and development
  • Radar or communications systems designs
  • Analog and digital signal processing
  • Embedded or real-time software development
  • Advanced math skills and the ability to understand advanced radar concepts
  • Extensive experience in model based systems engineering tools
  • Analytical, problem solving and team oriented mindset
  • Automotive Systems Engineering exposure to ASPICE, ISO 26262 helpful
  • Good oral and written communications
  • Some travel may be required
