Enterprise Information Securitys (EIS) vision is to provide Wells Fargo world leading cyber security risk management. Through a framework that addresses policy, process, operations, people, and technology, EIS protects Wells Fargos infrastructure, corporate data, and customer assets, and ensures alignment with applicable regulations and laws. EIS is part of Wells Fargo's Corporate Risk organization and is led by the Chief Information Security Officer.


As part of EIS, Enterprise Information Security Architecture (EISA) enables Wells Fargo business units to achieve their objectives and to make informed decisions that balance risk with reward, by providing actionable security strategies, architectures and solutions. EISA is seeking a talented information security professional to provide information security solution design and consulting services to Wells Fargo Lines Of Businesses (LOBs).

Successful candidate will:

  • Work closely with the EIS Information Security Leaders to manage the relationships with their corresponding LOBs
  • Be responsible for reviewing medium architectural impact projects
  • Collaborate with security architects aligned with other security architecture domains, LOBs, EIS partners and internal customers on major security related initiatives, projects, and new technology development to identify risks and recommend mitigating controls.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of information technology systems design and planning experience; in systems, applications, or architecture
  • 2+ years of information security experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge and understanding of the technical application of concepts, practices and procedures in the architecture of a single application or system component
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of threat analysis and assessment of potential and current information security risk/threats
  • Knowledge and understanding of application security planning and security architecture
  • Knowledge and understanding of diverse platforms and operating systems, including current and emerging technologies
  • Knowledge and understanding of technical design: patterns
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

Other Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge/Skills/Ability: understanding and experienced with information security technologies in different domains including: identity management and access controls, application security, network and infrastructure security, and cryptographic algorisms and key management.
  • Understand and follow the current major threats and vulnerabilities facing the industry and financial sectors
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals, such as routing, switching, VLAN, load balancing, VPN, Firewall, Wireless etc.
  • Knowledge of network-based and system-level attack vectors and mitigation methods
  • Understand end to end application security vulnerabilities and exploitations, and mitigation controls
  • Experience with threat assessment, risk management, and regulatory compliance in the financial industry
  • 3+ years of security architecture and artifact development experience
  • 2+ years technical or business consulting experience
