Supply Chain Program Manager

The Supply Chain Program Manager will manage multiple medium to large scale projects related to Oracle ERP Supply chain, WMS, Order Fulfillment, Transportation, Forecasting and planning modules as well as other MES and supply chain/manufacturing business systems. He or She will manage the execution of all phases of SDLC with end to end delivery responsibility; ensuring on time project delivery. The Program Manager will communicate and engage with business at a tactical level, ensuring all current project requirements are met. He/ She will engage various project managers, business analysts and collaborate with other teams to drive the assigned projects to completion. This role will work under the general direction of the STS Business Technology and ERP Transformation Director.

A successful candidate will have the following:

  • Excellent abilities to manage multiple concurrent projects
  • Ability to manage project managers and business analysts
  • Good understanding of Waterfall and Agile implementation methodologies
  • Experience in managing solutions in Oracle ERP within the WMS, Order management & Fulfillment, Transportation, Forecasting and planning modules
  • Completed 1 full lifecycle implementation
  • Excellent communications skills and the ability to interact with partners across the value chain

Responsibilities include:

This is a hands on position managing multiple Supply chain and manufacturing projects:

  • Create and own program plans and execution for key projects in the Supply Chain and Procurement process.
  • Extensive experience in managing projects around processes relating to Purchasing, Manufacturing and Order fulfillment business systems and ERP Supply Chain.
  • Engage project managers to drive SCM and Manufacturing projects and handle execution of multiple parallel projects in a complex hybrid environment.
  • Has a very good understanding of processes within Oracle Supply Chain on the cloud and implement projects using cloud technologies.
  • Extensive experience in driving SCM projects involving a hybrid implementation methodology approach using Agile and Waterfall methods.
  • Lead and participate in the improvement of business processes around Purchasing, Order fulfillment, Transportation and Manufacturing business systems
  • Planning and designing the program and proactively monitoring its progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action
  • Adhering to the company's set standards and methodology around the program's governance arrangements
  • Ensuring effective quality assurance and the overall integrity of the projects within supply chain - focusing inwardly on the internal consistency of the projects and outwardly on its coherence with infrastructure planning, interfaces with other programs and corporate, technical and specialist standards
  • Managing the SCM program's budget, monitoring expenditure and costs against delivered and realized benefits as the program progresses
  • Facilitating the appointment of individuals to project teams and building the structure
  • Ensuring the delivery of new SCM and Manufacturing processes from projects is to the appropriate level of quality, on time and within budget, in accordance with the plan and overall governance arrangements
  • Ensuring there is allocation of common and appropriate resources and skills within the program's individual projects
  • Managing third party contributions to the program
  • Managing communications with all stakeholders
  • Managing both the dependencies and the interfaces between the difference SCM, Manufacturing and Transportation projects
  • Managing risks to the program's successful outcome
  • Planning and managing all integrations across the different streams of projects using a common standard
  • Good understanding of Oracle SOA
  • Working with the business change management lead on the transition to the new business as usual position
  • Initiating extra activities and other management interventions wherever gaps in the program are identified or issues arise
  • Reporting the progress of the program at regular intervals to the ERP Program director as well as the STS Executive management


  • Exceptional verbal, written and communication skills
  • Enthusiastic lead, team-player, as well as a self-starter
  • Ability to establish goals and set clear expectations, prioritize activities, and follow through to completion
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including negotiation, problem resolution, and customer service
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to quickly understand the scope of the project and identify key success and risk factors
  • Experience working with third party vendors with an understanding of systems integration
  • Must be able to clearly and regularly communicate status, issues and risks to project stakeholders
  • Must be highly organized and able to multi-task
  • At least one successful hands on full cycle implementation of a Supply Chain project ideally using Oracle Supply Chain, Oracle Manufacturing, Oracle Fulfillment and WMS
  • Three to five years of managing Supply Chain projects in midsize to large teams and influencing mid-level management and key stakeholders.
  • Experience leading geographically distributed teams delivering to multiple functions and lines of business.
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher (focus as an MBA, MIS, computer science, mathematics, engineering, science, or other quantitative field a plus)

The following are beneficial to the position, but not required:

  • Experience with Oracle cloud implementation desired
  • Experience in the supply chain integration objects to financials
