Innovative Engineering Design Build Firm is looking for a Structural Engineer for their Western Washington division. This is a direct hire opportunity-company offers relocation assistance. Qualified candidates must have structural project experience and at least an EIT certification.

Responsibilities for the Structural Engineer

  • Provide engineering analysis to support sales, engineering and construction teams and producing calculations, reports and construction drawings
  • Prepare detailed construction documents (engineering drawings & calculations) for permit and construction
  • Defines, communicates, and manages scope for multiple short and long term projects and coordinate with internal design team on the development of drafting/modeling and design tasks
  • Demonstrates an understanding of overall project objectives and make design decisions that balance project goals with company capabilities

Requirements for the Structural Engineer

  • Must have Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with structural emphasis and EIT certification required (licensed PE preferred)
  • Autocad and Revit experience preferred
  • Must have minimum of 4 years experience designing structural engineering projects and strong building science and construction/fabrication background
  • Preferred experience with building codes in multiple jurisdictions
  • Risa 3D, Enercalc and other engineering software required
  • Must have excellent communication skills
