We are currently seeking candidates with Storage industry knowledge to apply for the role of Storage Sales Specialist across multiple industries including the Media, Industrial/Utility and Service Provider/Systems Integrator segments.

As a Storage Sales Specialist, you will work with the whole IBM storage portfolio of software & hardware which provides best in breed solutions. Responsible for client management and engagement within your named accounts in coordination with the IBM Global Markets team, this will be a mix of maintaining and expanding existing IBM relationships & forging new ones leading to competitive takeouts.

Responsibilities:
  • Storage Sales, Account Management & Business Development, delivering value to our clients
  • Owning sales targets and plan to overachieve
  • Business & forecasting management
  • Leveraging the wider IBM team, including Global Markets and Channels to partner for success
  • Ensure optimal client engagement through creating and executing outbound business development activities with emphasis to cross-sell and upsell to the existing IBM client base
Requirements:
  • Experienced storage seller (Hardware or Software) is essential
  • Proven track record of successful sales
  • Knowledge & experience working with Business Partners preferred
  • Proven track record in building short, medium- & long-term business plans & strategy
  • Excellent client interaction and relationship building skills, a track record of successful engagement at C suite level
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication and presentation & negotiation skills
  • You must speak native or fluent English
