Job Summary:

The Senior Project Manager (Strategic Sales B2B project) manages complex, cross-functional projects through the full project life cycle from planning through development, testing and deployment. The Sr Project Manager actively manages scope, schedule, budget and risk to ensure projects are delivered successfully.

Core Accountabilities:

- You manage large projects with complex scope, multiple streams of work, and inter dependencies.

- You lead cross-functional project teams that include BAs, developers, QA, cross-functional business partners and vendors.

- You lead external vendor teams that deliver software and related services.

- You proactively manage scope, schedule and risk and manage communication and alignment with all project stakeholders.

- You create and manage project budgets and report on budget and status to management.

- You are responsible for completing all project documentation that is part of our PMO process.

- You coach more junior PMs on PM skill development and mentor project team members on project methodology.

- You facilitate executive steering committee meetings and are comfortable communicating both with the project team and executive level.

- You assist the senior program manager with creating and communicating program level status to senior leadership, as well as improving PM practices on the team.

Required Skills, Experience and Academic/Educational Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or Business Administration or other related field or equivalent industry experience.

- Project Management certification (PMP) considered an asset.

- 7-10+ years of project management/industry work experience.

- Experience of managing project budgets in excess of $1 million.

- Experience with eCommerce projects is required, experience with B2B projects preferred.

- Experience of managing projects with multiple technical integrations required.

- Vendor management experience required.

- Excellent working knowledge of following tools preferred: JIRA, confluence, SharePoint, MS project, MS PowerPoint

- Familiarity with IT SDLC processes (both waterfall and agile) and compliance requirements such as PCI & SOX.

- Experience working with cross-functional marketing, operations and IT teams including UX, software development, BA and QA.

- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.

- Strong leadership, sound judgement, critical thinking and decision-making skills

- Aptitude to learn and manage change

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to successfully manage priorities within deadlines in a complex and rapidly evolving organization

- Knowledge of retail environment an asset
