What you’ll do at Jamf:
At Jamf, we empower people to be their best selves and do their best work. You will lead a team of Sales Engineering Managers to support revenue and sales goals for the Field Sales team, while improving pre-sales efforts by working directly with team members to provide crucial mentoring and technical training. It is a hands-on role with active engagement beyond the management team. You will set departmental strategy and goals. You will be involved in the creation and management of systems and best practices, working closely with the VP, Field Sales. Programs may address strategies, training, tools and other initiatives for improving overall SE effectiveness.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain current knowledge across all Jamf products 
  • Perform all job responsibilities in alignment with the core values, mission and vision of the organization.
  • Perform other duties and complete all job functions following departmental procedures
  • Actively engage with customers, fostering deep relationships up to the executive or C-level
  • Manage the priorities of the Field Sales Engineering team, ensuring the growth of the team’s managers, individuals and its overall capability to adapt and deliver
  • Manage pre-sales efforts, including all associated resources to meet committed sales and service objectives.
  • Participate in the department's management team to provide strategic planning and effective communication regarding issues, and performance to the established plan
  • Partners with key cross-functional stakeholders strategically and tactically to align the product strategy based on customer feedback to help deliver market-leading solutions
  • Directly build and oversee a team of managers and systems engineers, including the hiring, training, preparation and delivery of staff performance evaluations and career development activities
  • Participate in the forecasting / planning and budgeting cycle for Jamf 
  • Help analyze coverage and headcount planning efforts
  • Guide the competencies and training efforts of the SE teams
  • Guide and mentor both SEs and SE Managers on the appropriate features and tools of Jamf technical solutions.
  • Be the technical contact for strategic prospects and partners throughout the sales process positioning, presenting, and demonstrating Jamf solutions, products, and proposals.
  • Drive and support evaluations and pilot implementations of Jamf’s products.
  • Present at strategic industry trade shows and events.
  • Other responsibilities and projects as assigned.

 

Requirements

Skills & Requirements

 

  • 4 Year / Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 3 - 5 years of technical pre-sales experience (required), preferably in the software industry
  • 3 - 5 years of successful program or project leadership (required)
  • 2+ years of people management (required)
