ADP is hiring a Senior Director, Leadership & Team Solutions

This position supports ADP's Global Talent & Development team, focusing on solution planning and execution in support of our business objectives. The role supports GT&D's overall mission to deliver solutions that accelerate business, team and leader productivity and performance.

Reporting to the VP of Leadership & Team Solutions, manages the development, implementation, delivery and evaluation of core people leadership solutions. The role supports Global Talent and Development's (GTD) overall mission to deliver solutions that accelerate business, team and leader productivity and performance. Consults with key partners in GTD, business units and Diversity & Inclusion, to design and deliver programs, including High Potential leadership development, from the requirements phase through pilot/implementation, rollout, evaluation and revision phases.

Your day-to-day:

Driving Global Leadership Development - 50%

  • Design, deliver & manage end-to-end leadership solutions/programs, on core people leadership capabilities, including leveraging strengths, coaching and aligning team member priorities.
  • Design, deliver & manage end-to-end solutions that support leaders at different phases of their lifecycle, especially as they transition to a more senior role.
  • Leverages technology and learning resources to ensure meaningful and effective learning experiences for program participants.
  • Develop and communicate success metrics which provide a way to measure solution effectiveness.

Business Specific and Strategic Leadership Development - 25%

  • Partner with senior leaders, HR and Talent Partners to identify business needs & recommend sustainable solutions.
  • Consult with and coach team leaders on goals and solution design to create and sustain a high-performing team.
  • Partner with our Diversity & Inclusion team on development solutions in support of our initiatives to create a diverse leadership pipeline.

Leadership & Team Support - 25%

  • Serves as liaison or champion between GT&D and the broader learning communities to establish standards, best practices, policies and procedures.
  • Provide individual leader & team coaching and/or assessment debriefs as needed.
  • Supports development of Next Gen talent through level learning solution design projects in alignment with organization's product development life cycle.
  • Helps to develop a "learning community of practice," including program facilitators (e.g., line managers and HRBPs) to co-deliver elective programs across the enterprise.


  • 10 - 15 years' experience in designing and delivering leadership, team and organizational consulting services with proven business impact.
  • Internal and external strategic advisory and consulting, including initial consulting, client management, engagement design, execution and evaluation.
  • 10+ years of instructional design and leadership development experience, with strong facilitation & platform skills.
  • Breadth of experience in needs assessment, adult learning theories, instructional design and evaluation tools and techniques with proven experience in practical application.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with all levels of business leaders and HR leaders across a highly complex matrixed organization.
  • Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, as well as highly impactful presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Strategic and innovative thinking coupled with pragmatic, results oriented execution.
  • Facilitation and coaching with individuals and teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR/HCM, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, and/or Business & Master's or Doctoral Degree (Ph.D., Psy.D., MS/MA/MBA) required.
  • Accredited coaching certification (ICF or equivalent).
  • HBDI, MBTI, Hogan or other assessment tools and certifications preferred.
