The Wealth & Investment Management Technology (WIMT) organization provides technology support to 15,000 financial advisors, 10 million brokerage accounts, including processing for 100+ other brokerage firms. Within the WIMT organization, the WIMT Data Design team has been created to optimize, simplify, manage and deliver core data capabilities that enable application development supporting the WIM lines of business. Within the WIMT Data Design team, the Data Solution Lead provides data design, architecture, and solutions which support the WIM project portfolio which align with enterprise data strategies.

The solution lead primary responsibilities include:

Work with relationship managers during the initiation phase to develop an approach which follows standard patterns and meets the business and project requirements. Work with data services and architecture to evolve the data strategy, data placement guidelines, data governance and other core capabilities within the data portfolio. Work with relationship managers, project managers, and accountable managers on projects and ensure that everyone understands the scope and approach for the project. Overseeing the designing highly complex conceptual, logical and physical data models. Lead highly complex or critical data modeling, mapping, and integration efforts. Working with business contacts, data analysts and other subject matter experts to identify, understand and document business needs for data. Working closely with the Wealth & Investment Management Technology (WIMT) architecture community to provide strategic solutions, influencing long-range internal and enterprise-level data architecture and data management strategies. Serving as subject matter expert and steward for the architecture and content for assigned projects, systems and data subject areas. Leading the creation of data models and data management policies and standards. Providing data consulting services to application teams utilizing the WIM Data Hub. Reviewing data modeling artifacts of other team members to ensure compliance with standards, policies and procedures and data management best practices promoting proper data sharing, consistency and reuse. Providing expert-level consulting services in the identification and resolution of highly complex data design issues. Providing direction and guidance to less experienced staff. Review and Sign-off on the Approach, Requirements, Design, test approach and implementation plan. Work with the Solution Architect(s) to make sure that the proposed design follows WFA Wells Fargo Advisors patterns and uses approved technology solutions. Be available to the project manager to help resolve design issues. Provide leadership and guidance in adopting agile methodologies like SAFe in WIMT data architecture and project work.Required Qualifications

10+ years of database design and administration experience7+ years of Oracle experience5+ years of experience in application & data architecture and solution design5+ years of experience with data governance and management practices
